Guest guest
Friends: I was surprised to learn via Emails that Lal Kitab ke Armaan is not available. This is really strange because some people are already in possession of a properly printed book 'Lal Kitab ke Armaan (1940)' transliterated by Sh Goswami jee. They tell me that the quality of the paper used could have bin a better. Nevertheless, the book is available and it is not a laser printed copy. In fact, Sh Yograj Prabhakar wrote about this on Friday (Sept 7, 2007) I spoke to Shri Goswami jee (US Eastern Time: 11:30 PM Saturday - 9:00 AM IST Sunday.) I am sad to know that Sagar Publications is playing games with him and is spreading misinformation. Sagar being the distributor, is showing no interest in 'distributing' the book despite agreeing to do so before. The publisher has some other motives and is playing a dirty game of politics. You may please call the following phone numbers to arrange for delivery of the book: Phone: 9891911582 (Himachal Publications) Or, you may call Shri V M Goswami jee directly at: (New Delhi - I don't know the city code for Delhi - Is it '11' ?) 2574-3177 or 2572-5605 His mobile phone number is: 931 283 2612 He told me that the hardbound book will be available on Tuesday Sept 11 but the softcover book has been available for many days. If you mention to him at the time of placing the order that you are a member of the ASTROSTUDENTS Chandigarh forum, he will waive off posting charges which I think is close to a 15% discount. Or, the book can be picked from him right now (for those living in Delhi.) Those living abroad, can get in touch with Goswami jee directly and he can arrange to post the books. Please let us know through your EMails, if you run into any difficulty with this and I will take that up with Goswami jee. Let me say once again that NONE of us - Sh Yograj, Nirmal jee, Sh PK Sharma or I, Rajinder Bhatia have ANY commercial interest in this book. We are just a bunch of LalKitab enthusiasts like all of you. Thanks. Respectfully, Rajinder Bhatia
