Guest guest
Namaskar Dinesh ji, You have a very useful point about reference to 'Chavanni' as intelligence. I didn't even think of it... Thanks ! Do you think another possibility could be 'Chavanni' meaning 25%. 'Paropkar' means service to others or merit earned (perhaps in previous lives).. if we just extend this train of thought, it may also mean that 1st house represents 25% value of what the native is capable of doing. or formation of 1st house as a result of 25% of merit earned in one's previous lives. So, to sum up, our discussion has come up with following points so far. Do you think these are acceptable translations ? (Please feel free to add/subtract if you like). - 1st house is like 'Takht Hazari' - Like a King of the whole kundali. (Grahas placed in this house also represent the significations of 1st house). All of these have supreme importance in the Kundli. - 1st house represents the house of the soul - 1st house represents the struggle between Maya (illusion) and Manush (Soul or ego). - It's the 'Pukka Ghar' (fixed house) of Sun - It may represent intelligence OR may represent 25% of all merit (Paropkar) earned in previous lives. - This house may also represent 'Vajud' (Existence/physical body), 'Makan' (house), 'Ruh' (Soul), 'Mulak' (Country). - The outcome of one's earnings (Haal Kamai Ka) is also seen from this house. best wishes, Anshev B. I thought so too. But then I had a problem here. Lagna is the base of the Kundli, the most important house, without which no other house can exist. Than can we only give ..25 units to it? It could mean that .25 is contributed by this house to the working of all other houses. Or .25 units are to be given to the planets in this house? Maybe as we look at more rules we may make new sense of it. > - 1st house is like 'Takht Hazari' - Like a King of the whole > kundali. Maybe when we look at the latter rules we may get more clarification. Should we say soul and body? > - The outcome of one's earnings (Haal Kamai Ka) is also seen from > this house. > You have summed it up very nicely. Respectfully, Dinesh.
