Guest guest
Nice to see activity on this group. Pranaam Jai Ji. Sometime back I had posted a following query. But after that as you pointed, the group seems to have been into hibernation. The query was on a subject ongoing on the list " On dristi and % " . May be you can throw some light on the query below. ==== QUERY POSTED BEFORE ==== I am following hindi translation of lalkitab from Pt. Kishan Lal Sharma. In the book dristi has been explained and classified in detail. I wanted to confirm if this is as per original Lal Kitab: 1. Samanya dristi 2. Takkar dristi 3. Payee ki dristi 4. Vishwaas ghaat ki dristi 5. Sahachari diwar dristi 6. Achanak prahar dristi 7. Paraspar sahayog ki dristi. Guest guest
Dear Friend, The discussion on the aspects have already been done several times in the past. However lets us have few line as follows: First of all i suggest you to read original books Though very few are available. The other books written by the learned astrologers contain their own interpretation of the subject and terms. You can keep these books for reference and further research. Now coming to the aspects ,My friend! as far as my knowledge is concerned the book only describes three types of Drishtis a. 100% drishti(1-7, 4-10) b. 50% drishti(3-11,3-9,5-9) c. 25 % drishti(8-2,2-6,6-12) Your querry relates to the relationship between planets at their different position w.r.t. each other. While aspect means that the effect of the aspecting planet to the aspected planet/house. Intra positional effect is considered amongst both the planets. The effect shall be borne by both the planets and houses. Here some Gurus interprete this as drishti. But this is not. That is why, I suggest you to read original text books(tranliterated books) not translated. Pt. Keshvanand's book or ArunSanhita for 1952 edition and few photostat hindi books available from Ambala may serve the purpose(These books are full of printing errors and ommissions but will serve you better to understand the basics of LalKitab) If you know Urdu then you can have the urdu books which are availble in Delho and some parts of Punjab. The lalKitab Gutka published and printed by Mr. Vashishta have errors but this is very near to the original version of LalKitab 1941 edition.
