Guest guest
Respected Gurujan, [ 1 ] In Arun Sanhita page # 7 another serious mistake has crept in. While talking about dushman party at the end it says ' sab ka dushman rahu'. If you check with the table of friendships given on the same page , the statement doesn't come true. Similarly , while talking about the mitra party at the end it says ' sab ka dost ketu'. This statement again isn't true. Therefore I checked the original and found that the word ' sab ' doen't appear in the text. {It is astonishing how and when the word 'sab' got into the traslated versions } Therefore it just reads ' ka dushman rahu' or ' ka dost ketu' . And reading with this correction both the statements make sense. Out of curiosity, yesterday I checked all the Lal Kitab versions I have for the earlier mistake of ' moon considering venus as its enemy' And to my surprise I found the same mistake being carried right through ; Arun sanhita page 7 , UC Mahajan page 59 , RS Chillar page 40 , Goswami & Vashishtha page 71 , swami Keshavananda page 22. The only author who had corrected the earlier mistake is Dr U. Puri in his Gyaneshwari tika. The mistake that I have pointed out today has also been carried through in all the translations I have mentioned above. Therefore , If you really want to learn Lal Kitab get hold of an authentic translation. with regards and naman to all gurujan. bhuwan
Guest guest
yes bhuwan u are absolutely right at panna no. 32 dushman party ends with the words mangal badh ka dushman rahu and dost party ends with shukra ka dost ketu hai. every translated version has some flaws therefore the best way is learn from people like u and have continuous discussions amongst ourselves kulbir , " bhuwanvashishtha " <bhuwanvashishtha> wrote: > > Respected Gurujan, > > [ 1 ] In Arun Sanhita page # 7 another serious mistake has crept in. > While talking about dushman party at the end it says ' sab ka > dushman rahu'.
