Yes Saturn is the lord of the 10th house in the Cardinal kundali [

kal purush kundali] but we can not and should not ignore the rasi

lord of the 10th house. In the case you have mentioned Mars is the

rasi lord of the 10th house.

Dear Naveen,

 

Mars is your 10th house lord. Venus is your Bhagya lord. Appeasing

Mars alone will not be suffient unless you appease your Bhagya lord

also. Profession largely depends on the Bhagya also.

 

For Mars:

 

[ a ] You must have good relations with your brothers.

[ b ] Worship Lord Hanuman every day.

[ c ] If you can, recite the stotra of Mars at least 13 times a day.

 

For Venus :

 

[ a ] Keep your wife happy.

[ b ] At least once a week feed green leaves like palak to a cow.

[ c ] Recite the stotra for venus at least 13 times a day.
