Guest guest
Dear Molly, The upaya is to be done after the sun rise. If the sun rises before 6:37 am at the place you live in, then you can do the upaya at that time. Sincerely, Priya , Molly Patel <mllyptl wrote: > > Respected Priyaji, > > Sadar Pranam! > > > I am a little confused about the timing of doing the lunar upaya. Guest guest
Respected Priyaji, Sadar Pranam! Thank you for the clarification. I have some questions: 1. Is it inauspicious to be out in the open during a lunar eclipse or a solar eclipse?2. While undergoing a Shani Mahadasha, is it harmful to keep black urad dal, mustard oil, black til and things made of iron inside the house? Thanking you, Mili < wrote: Dear Molly,The upaya is to be done after the sun rise. Guest guest
Dear Molly, [ 1 ] It is inauspicious for the mothers to be to come out in the open at the time of any eclipse. There are no restrictions for others. [ 2 ] No, not really. You can always have house hold goods which are the karaks of Saturn during the shani mahadasha. The only restriction is that you should not accept any gifts of such items during this dasha. Guest guest
Respected Priyaji, Sadar Pranam. For the Lunar Eclipse I am supposed to do the Moon +Saturn Upaya. For this I have found Sabut Badam that have been roasted and salted and the shells have slits. In the whole packet I have found only about ten that do not have slits. but the shells are salted and roasted. I can wash off the salt. Are these okay to use? With slits, without slits?? If not, what is the alternate? For headaches and migraines I have heard from yoga instructor that Bhamri Pranayam is very beneficial. Guest guest
Respected Priyaji, Today I floated 2 pooja nariyals at 6.45 a.m. in the river, and then sabut black urad and mustard oil at 7.45 a.m. Sunrise today was at 7.02 a.m.I think that I have done the upayas at the proper times, but I do want to confirm, as I can repeat the moon+shani upaya tomorrow, the 29th. Guest guest
Dear Molly, In India the eclipse ended at 17:54hrs. And the sun had already set by that time in most places. Therefore there was no time for the upaya to be done. Therefore in India the Lunar eclipse upaya will be done on August 29th after the sun rise. So long as you have done the eclipse upaya after the eclipse was over in your area and the sun had risen, it is done well. Sincerely, Priya , Molly Patel <mllyptl wrote: > > > Respected Priyaji, > > Today I floated 2 pooja nariyals at 6.45 a.m. in the river, and then sabut black urad and mustard oil at 7.45 a.m. Sunrise today was at 7.02 a.m.I think that I have done the upayas at the proper times, but I do want to confirm, as I can repeat the moon+shani upaya tomorrow, the 29th. > > Moon's > Azimuth Altitude > h m o o > Moonrise 2007 Aug 27 19:34 104.8 ---- > Moon enters penumbra 2007 Aug 28 03:52.2 228.3 35.7 > Moon enters umbra 2007 Aug 28 04:50.9 239.8 25.7 > Moon enters totality 2007 Aug 28 05:52.0 249.3 14.2 > Middle of eclipse 2007 Aug 28 06:37.3 255.2 5.2 > Moonset 2007 Aug 28 07:06 258.7 ---- > > Charan sparsh pranam > Thanking you, > Mili > > > > Molly Patel <mllyptl wrote: > Respected Priyaji, > > Sadar Pranam. > > For the Lunar Eclipse I am supposed to do the Moon +Saturn Upaya.
