Guest guest
Dear NBS, Yes you have correctly analysed, the horoscope has a Pitri Rin of Jupiter, mercury and Saturn. [ 1 ] The debt of the ancestors { Pitri Rin } is a concept of Lal Kitab and not of Parashar or any other Vedic astrology classics. It should not be confused with the curse of the ancestors. Curse of the ancestors is another thing altogether. [ 2 ] The Rin of Jupiter is indicative that one of your ancestors humiliated or gave problems to your Kul Purohit or did not respect him ; or mutilated a temple ; or cut down a Peepal tree ; or became irreligious etc. The Rin of mercury is indicative of that women folk of the family were tortured or harrassed specially the daughter and sisters. The Rin of Saturn indicates that servants were not treated well, exploited or not paid their due. Might have grabbed a house or land without paying full compensation for it. Or might have constructed a house on the land of some one who died without an heir. [ 3 ] The upaya to be done : Count all the members of your extended family. Extended family includes the family of your uncles also. Married sisters and daughters are not to be counted in. Once you have got the count, get some token subscription from them to meet the expanses of the three upaya you have to do. In case some one refuses to give his share, you should put his share from your pocket. Of the money thus collected you have to do these three upaya. [ a ] Gift to a temple some thing which is likely to be used there, viz a fan, water cooler or cement & bricks etc to get some thing added to the temple [ b ] Buy kaudis { small sea shells } which should be yellowish in colour equal to the number of members counted above. Burn these kaudis on kachcha koyala { wood charcoal } in an open earthen pot, at the bank of a river close to the water. When the kaudis turn to ashes, throw the ash into the river and later throw the pot also into the river. Make sure while you are burning the kaudis , no one should cross between the water and the place where the kaudis are being burnt. That means burn the kaudis close to the water. [ c ] Feed fish with the atta { flour } of Urad on any Saturday or feed at least 10 labourers on one single day day; do not give them money for food instead give them food. Guest guest
Dear Priyaji, Thank you very much for the immediate response. I shall definitely strive to do the upayas suggested by you. I would like to inform that the horoscope given was that of mine only and I lost my father when I was 4 months old. At present because of certain misunderstandings with my paternal uncles with my mother, I do not have any information about their families. And all my paternal uncles have also expired. In view of this it is a bit difficult to count the number of members from that side. Anyhow I shall try to do that. As an alternative is there any random number like 12 or 27 like that with which I can complete the upaya ? As an ardent learner of astrology I also would like to know how to find out the indications in a horoscope with Pitri-Rin as you have mentioned for me - Jupiter, Mercury & Saturn - Indications. Thanks in advance. yenbeeyes On 7/30/07, < wrote: Dear NBS,Yes you have correctly analysed, the horoscope has a Pitri Rin of Jupiter, mercury and Saturn.[ 1 ] The debt of the ancestors { Pitri Rin } is a concept of Lal Kitab and not of Parashar or any other Vedic astrology classics. Guest guest
Dear Bala, [ 1 ] In case you do not know the count, take it as 13 and do the upaya. [ 2 ] If you are interested in Lal Kitab astrology, then go to the files and get the reading list. Study those books. I haven't got the time to explain things to you.
