Dear Jyotsna,

My best wishes at your birthday. God bless you.

[ 1 ] Both the upaya are the same. It is just a difference of form.

You can keep dropping the copper piece every day and finally you or

any of your blood relation can go and immerse the pot with copper

pieces into a river. Yes. I normally advise to have round copper

pieces punched out of a strip. I know the copper paisa is a rare

thing.

[ 2 ] Chana dal and haldi ganth are the same. In variably people

from the south do not understand the word haldi ganth. Dahi upaya

along with chana dal is also done for jupiter. Of course

transplanting a peepal sapling from a cemetery into a temple

compound is the best, but not many people can do it.

The best thing to offer curds in is a dona { a cup made of leaves }.

Now these cups made of leaves are available in plenty.

[ 3 ] Sure, the ladies can continue doing the upaya even during

those days. But they should not start an upaya during that time.

Sincerely,

priya
