Guest guest
Hello. While I am waiting to receive my newly-purchased commercial KP software program, I wish to practice with example charts on software I have on hand, particularly Jagannatha Hora 7.02. The problem I have with this program is that I cannot make the example charts, some of which are from uploaded files in this group, come out with the the same values/results as the uploaded files. Would some person who has experience of using Jagannatha Hora for KP study kindly email me some tips on getting this program to work properly for basic KP analysis, or post these here? Thanks, GA

Guest guest
dear Astro Paris You may find a solution in the Vedic-astrology group. Still it is better to use a KP specific sw. Guest guest
Dear Bhanu, My Dear, the Cuspal posiotions are very much there. If You have used the J Hora a lot , then You must know that it is very easy to prepare the significators chart fro this Software. It does not take more than 2 minutes to prepare the whole Table of Significators manually. It sems you have not explored the Cuspal positions Page. All the Cuspal Degrees are mentioned perfectly, in this software, and also which planets in which Cusp, have to be noted down from that same Page on a sheet of paper. What more does one need to predict ? Even the subLords are mentioned and so are the sub sub Lords ? a) feed in Birth details and prepare chart. b) press basics on upper left hand corner and then press houses. (All the cuspal positions of the houses would appear here on this web page, alongwith the planetary positions in each Cusp). c) Now you press KP at bottom right hand corner keeping the Upper Left hand side Basics on. All Star Lords, Sub lords, SSL, and SSL will appear on this page. What mnore do You need ? In fact this is one of the best Softwares for Kp, as long as you go to preferences and choose KP Ayanamsha, and also confirm the lat. and long. of the places from another Source before entering the button for making the Chart. Also remember that you will not get the diagrammatical representation for the KP Cusp Chart, which does not matter , because any good KP astrologer just needs the Planetray degrees, Cuspal positions, placements and significators on a single sheet of paper, which will suffice and he does not have to look at any diagram, once these details are set. I was personally using J Hora till the time I got enough money to buy a good KP Software ( there is nothing like Good, by the way), and it has helped me always, and I still use it when I go to any relatives place and they wish me to see their chart, then I download this software and predict for them. I also remain indebted to the Owners of J Hora who have allowed their software for public use, which I still consider the best, for all purposes, only one should know how to take advantage of the software utilities. regards, Bhaskar. , " Astro Paris " <bhanuparis wrote: > > Hello, > > I have used a lot Jagannatha Hora for Vedic Astrology analysis, but > not possible for KP system. > > The problem is with cusp position. Guest guest
Dear Baskar, Thank you very much for the information. I have tried again and found the way. There are Two things must be done to have correct information: (1) KP Ayanamsa (2) Also In the Houses tab; Popup Menu and select: Placidus Houses (KP) Then only you get the correct KP system Cuspal positions and different lords ( star lord, sub lord,..) In fact I have not seen this popup menu (2) until I have received your mail and I thought the cuspal positions are always equal. Thank you once again for your information Best regards Bhanu On Dec 20, 2007 8:51 AM, Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish wrote: > > > > > Dear Bhanu, > > My Dear, the Cuspal posiotions are very much there. > > If You have used the J Hora a lot , then You must know that it is > very easy to prepare the significators chart fro this Software.
