Guest guest
Dear SridharWhen you are using the 4 step Method Stick to rules given in the Book/article.The method does not take into consideration, the positional strenghts of the Cuspal Lords, per se. The positional strenght is for the Planet as such, and the houses it owns.If a planet is within 3.33 deg of the cusp of a house, although positioned in the previous house, it is considered to be a strong significator of the house to which it applies, and of the house occupied, if there are no other planets in that house. Please avoid mixing up two methods. You may solve the problem by two different methods, sticking to the rules of each one, and then compare the final result.sridhar v <enmacsridhar wrote: “ Ask Your Question to A.R. Raichur – By A.R.R.” About 4 Steps Theory : Example taken from E-Zine May 2007. Dear A.R.R Sir, Thanks for your 5 series article on the subject with Model charts. In this connection, I would be grateful if you kindly clarify my following doubts, which is not available from the Notes and Rules explained by you. Planetary significations through Stellar and Sub status are O.K. In K.P. articles, especially that of Prof.Vaikariji wherein he has emphasized that if the Cuspal Sub Lords are with positional strength i.e. no Planet is in its 3 stars, then the Sub Lord himself is strong significator of the concerned Cusp. In many cases.the Cusps’ Sign lords, Star lords. Sub-lords etc. become the planets which are with positional strength i.e. no other planet in their stars. In such cases. are we not to include such planets as Primary significators, while analyzing the main planets under 4 steps, which are seen mainly on stellar position of the planet without consideration of cuspal position, especially when they are strong significators of cusps. .In the Model Chart in E-Zine series No.4 (May 2007 Issue), Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu & Kethu are with positional strength i.e. either they are in their own stars or no other planet is in their 3 stars. In the said model chart, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, 9th, 10th,11th cusps have planets with positional strength i.e. no other planet in their stars.as Signlord, Star Lord and Sub Lord. Jupiter is sign lord, Saturn as Star Lord and Jupiter again is Sub Lord of the 2nd Cusp. In this case, can we take Jupiter and Saturn as Primary significators for 2nd while judging the Significations of Jupiter and Saturn in addition to their significations under the 4 steps theory? I feel that the planets strong for the cusps should also be taken as strong (primay) significations under 4 steps theory. If yes, then whether Strong significators of only Sign Lord or only Star Lord (instead of only Sub lord) can be included in 4 steps extraction for finding Primary Significators However I seek your authentic clarification on the above point. Doubt No.2 : Sun is sign lord of 5th in his own star in 5th, where one other planet is also there deposited in 5th. Sun is behind the 6th cusp within 3 Deg.20’ but there is a planet in 6th. The Sun is in own star in 6th (Virgo). Sun with positional strength is also Star lord for 6th cusp. In this case whether Sun can be taken as primary significator for both 5th and 6th under Step 1 and 2? If so, what would be signification of a planet in the star of Sun who is also a strong primary significator? Whether we can take other planet also (who is in the star of Sun) as significator of both 5th and 6th cusps or only 5th cusp? I would be grateful if you clarify both the doubts above.
