Dear Subhash,

 

Whilst the KP experts answer you the KP way,being out of

Mumbai, my suggestion is simple and effective. To judge the year,

pleast drw the chart the normal way.Locate the Lagan and & 7th house.

similarly for Moon Lagan and 7th from Moon. In the present day check

when the Lagna /7th and Moon/7th are SIMULTANEOUSLY aspected by Jup and

Sat. This will estabilish the Year. For The approx month Sun's transit

thru Dasa /Bhukti sign or Star.

 

This is rough and ready method ,please try it out and

advise.
