Dear All,

I haven't realised that it's an insulting word and just I thought 'hot

wind' from Lajmi ji's message.

If it's an insulting word, I feel that those who intentionally used it

to hurt anyone else are no more acceptable in this prestigious forum,

in short they should go.

Regards,

tw

Dear Tin Win ji and others,

Word are vehicle of thought.Meaning depends on

context ,and way used apart from dictionary definitions , readers viewpoint and mood.

Translated it simply means Hot air( akin to waves carrying heat= some anger containing exchange) now is the time to forgive if one is hurt and forget who was the cause of hurt.

Mr Sunil has responded and now is the turn of

Sh Lajmi ji to explain How He would apply his simple concept on 4 step analysis ,just ifHe chooses to educate student like me .I am waiting for my turn .Hope Mr Lajmi ji will oblige.

Some more inputs will be welcome on "connection" in KP uses by experts.

with regards.

PS: Second sentence apparently gives an impresson of agni tatwa? Can you find reasons ? it will be beautiful Tinwin ji

to meditate on your own chart. Ruiling planets tells us why we do something at a moment ( According to DBAP and Transits. on Natal as you already know)

OM TAT SAT.

My interpretation is that it loosely translates to "Letting off steam". If any one interpreted it as insulting or disparaging needs to re-read the entire thread from the start and get a life.

Dear tw853,

Garam Hava meaning "hot air",is definitely not at all an insulting phrase...it means simply that...Hot Air...Garam(Hot), Hava (Air)...

I guess Kanak is needlessly getting unduly and overly "sensitive"...taking offence even when it is not intended...perhaps some people are made that way...

The nearest English equivalent of the phrase,is,"blowing hot..."

With best wishes,

L.Y.Rao.

Dear TW,

Garam means hot Hawa means Air,together is hot air. You

can you use this term anywhere any time, means less of substance

more of rhetoric. This would be the best way to explain.

I think it was never to insult or hurt anyone, let us agree

to bury the issue. All of us are honourable ladies/men.

Dear tw,

The language is ofcourse English, but the majority of the respondents understand Hindustani...it is however unfortunate that I did not realise that you don't understand the National Language of India...and Kanak Bhai has chosen to 'read' some unintended meaning, needlessly, into the simple phrase, and display a high degree of "over-sensitiveness" over what actually means, in simple English, "Hot Air"...and the nearest English Phrase is "needless/uncalled-for blowing of hot air..."

You seem to have totally misunderstood...the phraseology...

As is well-known, if one wants to,one can take exception to even an innocuous sentence or even word...!

Perhaps Kanak is presently feeling the effects of being over-strained especially after taking upon himself the enormous responsibility of running E-ZINE successfully...

Dear TW,There is no need to get emotional over a word used out of contest. The 4 step theory is not any new invention for the people who swear by it. It has been dealt with in KSK's readers. Even Sunil has agreed to same. There is no need for feeling hurt, if a senior member of the group has used a particualr word to highlight his feelings. Afterall, even the so called 4 step theory is being researched, even now.

Here is what it says on the home page for KP-Systems.

"

This group intends to discuss KP System of Astrology. Krishnamurti Paddhati astrologer can discuss, research, inquire, and analyze horoscopes here. Till now there was no forum for scientific astrologers. I hope this forum will prove the community place for scientific astrologers.

This is an excellent system (Paddhati) of astrological predictions conceived, created by The Great Indian Astrology master, late Prof. K.S. Krishnamurti.

Major Differences From Vedic:

KP system gives importance to the Constellations / Stars / Nakshatras divisions of the Zodiac which is obviously the most desired for precision.

Further it divides each Constellation / Star / Nakshatra division into further 9 subdivisions called 'SUBS'. These sub divisions are not equal divisions, but are as per the Vimshottari Dashas Divisions System.

K.P. System uses K.P. Ayanamshas as opposed to Lahiri Ayanamshas mostly used in Vedic System. The difference between two is about 6 minutes (Kala).

This system uses Cusps that is house/ bhav beginnings like Western Systems, as opposed to Vedic System which uses House Centres i.e. Bhav Madhyas.

This system uses Placidus House system.

The planet in it's dasha gives results as per it's Nakshtra-Swami (Star-Lord) rather than the planet itself.

Hence Planet is represents the SOURCE, that Planet's Star-Lord represents the EFFECTS, RESULTS and that Planet's Sub gives idea of the FINAL DIRECTION of that result.

RULING PLANETS: Unique Concept of KP for Powerful Divine Guidance during predictions.

Note: This forum is not for seeking free remedies and consultation. Any post having request for the same, may not appear on the board."

I do not see where it states English is the language for discussion.  While English may have become the de facto language - it does not prohibit anyone from conversing in any language.

This may seem exclusionary - but this is an inherent part of our Indian culture. "Sab Chalta Hai"
