Guest guest
Dear Shri Priya, Thank you so much for your answer. Much of it is exactly on the mark! I read the rules of upaya and it states you must not begin one until the previous one is finished. The first upaya you gave me: " Realization that I can accomplish only that much which the circumstances allow me to do. " I understand the meaning of this and already it is helpful, but how do I know that realization of this has truly occurred and I can go on to the next upaya? I am in Boulder Colorado and brass containers and small square pieces of silver are not common and probably are very expensive- I am a sannyasin of my lineage and don't have a lot of money. (I will be in India end of November where they are easier to attain, but I would love to begin ASAP) Can you suggest something about this? As you suggest that I keep this container for one year I guess I would do this upaya after the ones for colitis, otherwise there is a long wait? Lastly, in the upaya for the colitis where I need to make offerings to a temple, I will be going to my Guru's ashram beginning of August in the French Pyrennes where this would be very easy to do, but again I would like to begin ASAP so should I start eating the honey daily now and hope I find a temple situation here that would allow me to come do this (again, not as easy as in India)? Sorry for so many questions but this is extremely important to me and I really wish to have the best understanding of how to proceed. Thank you again. Sincerely, Samana
