Guest guest
Dear Val, [ 1 ] In order to offer water to the sun god, you have to stand facing the sun. You do not have to look at it. First place the flower or a pinch of kumkum on the ground, and then slowly pour down the water. Later on remove the flower / kumkum and keep collecting them in any container. Once a week or once in two weeks , at your convenience, you could immerse the dry flowers in a river. It would be more effective if your son does the upaya. [ 2 ] I think you should ask your son to recite the stotra for Mars. You should not be doing it for him. [ 3 ] Yes, you can feed the birds on behalf of your son. All the three upaya can be done simultaneously provided that they are started on different days with a gap in between. Guest guest
Dear Priyaji, I have been offering water to sun god. As advised I add a bit of sugar and milk to it. I must add, that the milk is not directly from the packet. At times it is from the refrigerator, at times it has just been boiled and I take a teaspoon. Hope this is not wrong?? Lately I have been adding roli to the water. But reading this thread mixing roli to water is not the right way to offer. If I have understood this correctly, I should take a pinch of roli, offer to the sun god, then as usual offer water and then collect the roli in a small container and at a later stage immerse it in a river?? I do take care that the water beimg offered falls in the flower fot, so that it is not 'stepped upon'. With warm regards Bobby < wrote: Dear Val,[ 1 ] In order to offer water to the sun god, you have to stand facing the sun. You do not have to look at it.
