[ 1 ] Since the 8th lord mercury who is also the rasi lord is placed in the Lagna it is considered a minor bal arishta. Therefore : [ a ] Bury in a place where grass grows a handful of sabut moong in an earthen pot. Make the child touch the pot before it is taken to be buried. Do not bring back home the digging tool. [ b ] Do not feed eggs to the child. [ 2 ] Although the moon is placed in the 8th house but after bhav spashta the moon moves to the 9th house. Therefore there is no bal arishta due to the place ment of the moon. [ 3 ] Since the Lagna is aspected by Jupiter placed in the 9th house, there is absolutely no danger to the child.
