Dear Neena,

Mantra or stotra can be recited any time be it day or night. But you

should do it with 'pavitrataa'-- clean and washed.

Offering water to the Sun God is always advisable to keep the Sun

appeased. Sun is the 'aatma', apart from what it might indicate in

an horoscope.

Sincerely,

Priya
