Guest guest
Dear Neena, Mantra or stotra can be recited any time be it day or night. But you should do it with 'pavitrataa'-- clean and washed. Offering water to the Sun God is always advisable to keep the Sun appeased. Sun is the 'aatma', apart from what it might indicate in an horoscope.
