Dear helen,

In that case you can offer a few grains of whole urad; and bring

back from the temple roughly half of the urad you had offered and

keep them tied in a yellow cloth.

Ask some Indian friend what sabut urad { whole urad } is.

Sincerely,

Priya

Dear Helen,

In an Idian store you would find urad in two forms. One would be in

the split form commonly used as daal; but for the upaya you have to

ask for the urad in its whole form and not in the split form.

Sincerely,

Dear Mr. Priya, Yesterday, I got a almond with soft shell from a bakery. Shell is cover to all part of almond but you can separate with hand very easily. Is it okay or it is better to go and buy urad for Indian store. Helen < wrote: Dear Helen,In an Idian store you would find urad in two forms. Dear Helen,

So long as there is a shell on the almond, however thin, it doen't

matter. You could still use it for the upaya.

Dear Helen,

The ear lobe is the lower tip of the ear. She has to apply a very

small tilak on the lobe which should not spoil the bed-sheets. There

is no alternative to this upaya.

Sincerely,

Priya
