Dear Vandana,

 

[ 1 ] Reciting a stotra is to appease a planet, where as reciting a

beej mantra is to invoke a planet. Invoking should be done when the

planet is already placed benefically and you invoke it to help you.

This in a way is seen as strengthening the effects of the planet.

Ofcourse there are other methods too to strengthen a planet.

 

Lord Shiv is worshipped for moon and Goddess Durga for mercury.

 

[ 2 ] I am not aware of any upaya for it.

 

[ 3 ] In order to acheive success you have to appease your Saturn.

Apart from reciting Shani stotra , you should gift a little mustard

oil on Saturdays and walk a part of the way to a temple barefoot.
