Guest guest
Dear Learned Ones, In Lal Kitab it says Saturn-Rahu-Ketu period (48 Years)but in Vedic it is according to Dasha like Sun, Sukra, Ketu, Jupiter....and so on. Please tell us what is the difference between these two and please elaborate how the dashas appear through Lal-Kitab Method in One's life. Yours Sincerely, Nanda KUmar
Guest guest
Dear Nanda Kumar ji, Calculation of Lal Kitab dasa is not very well documented and hence there is difference of opinion on this matter. The order of planets in Lal Kitab dasa is well documented, but there is ambiguitiy as far as selection of first planet in Lal Kitab dasa. Lal Kitab astrologers suggest various different methods and you can search this forum archive on 35 year cycle/ 35 saala chakkar for more information. Due to this ambiguitity, I would suggest to stay away from timing events using Lal Kitab dasa and stick to Lal Kitab varshphal and affect of planets in various years for timing purpose. Guest guest
respected pundit ji, i have a doubt regarding lal kitab,i.e. lal kitab says that i deals with bhavs only and rashi is not concerned .if rashi is not concersd then how a planet in same house in different peoples horoscope is beneficial and malfic in a same house of two different people. ________________________________ Punit Pandey <punitp lalkitab Tuesday, 24 March, 2009 11:11:05 AM Re: [lalkitab] Regarding Saturn-Rahu-Ketu period Dear Nanda Kumar ji, Calculation of Lal Kitab dasa is not very well documented and hence there is difference of opinion on this matter. Guest guest
Lal Kitab astrology is only indicative as far as predictions are concerned. The main purpose of Lal Kitab is to figure out malefic planets and perform remedies for them. A Lal Kitab astrologer supplement a birth chart information with various feedback questions, phrenology (palm kundli, face reading etc.) and makaan kundli to figure out whether a planet is really malefic or benefic. Just by seeing a birth chart, it is not possible in Lal Kitab to suggest which planet is malefic and which one is benfic. Planet's position is spefic bhave just gives first level indication which needs to be verified using other tools as suggested above. Also a chart should be judged in totality and not just position of a planet in house. A Lal Kitab astrologer needs to see planets conjoining the planet under consideration, planetary aspects, position of friently and inimical planets etc. to judge the planet. If two people do have same planet in same house, these conditions will vary. Even if two people have exactly same kundli, they will have different palm chart, face chart, house chart and relatives etc. which needs to be judged in Lal Kitab. I hope it answers your question.
