Lal Kitab Basis - Palmistry or Astrology

All,

I have experience of Lal Kitab almost 24 years back (in 1985),

through an expert in LK and have seen miracles when it comes to

remedies.

What bothers me is that expert, told me specifically that LK is

primarily based on Palmistry.

 

I have deep interest in both Palmistry and Astrology, he told me that

astrology is vague, different astrologers will give different

predictions for the same horoscope. It's more driven by intuition

rather then mathematical laws or in IT, if then else statements.

 

I am yet to find an LK book based on Palmistry alone or with major

emphasis.

 

Any thoughts or experience on this aspect.

Dear Asheesh ji,

 

Almost all editions of Lal Kitab talk about palmistry. The first edition

(1939) is based on palmistry only. A transliteration of 1939 edition has

been done by Shri Benimadhav Goswami and published by Sagar publications.

however its primarily based on astrology ...Sun in X house , Moon in

y house and so on.

 

Have they come up with another edition , explicitly based on

Palmistry.

This is " Lal Kitab Ke Farmaan " (also called 1939 edition of Lal Kitab) in

Hindi published by Himanchal Publications and distributed by Sagar

Publications.

Sir, truth is that it is based on amalgmation of astrology, vaastu,

prevailing conditions, objects under command of native and intutive

capapcity of the astrologer. Palmistry is only a small portion which

is ignorable. Kulbir.

Though I am yet to find an authentic Lal Kitab (purely based on

Palmistry), however Lal Kitab by Pt. Vashisth & Pt. Goswami ,

published by Sagar Publications (Rs. 500) is a better bet, its in

english.

 

Once again, intuition and blessings are more important when it comes

to interpretation and predictions.

Dear Kulbir ji,

 

Your statement that " Palmistry is only a small portion which is ignorable. "

seems strange to me. The fact, the first edition (1939 edition) was based on

palmistry only. In all the examples given in Lal Kitab " Vishay ke Sahayak

Kuch Udhaharan " , chart based on palm has been given equal importance as

birth chart. In my opinion, Lal Kitab is the only book available book of

present time that dealt with Astro-Palmistry with that level of detail.

Other books like book by L. R. Chawdhary and R.G. Rao are just at surface

level if we compare them with Lal Kitab.

Thanks for your observation and comments.

May I narrate a real incidence. Niels Bohr- a noble prize holder in physics,

had a horse shoe nail

stamped upon the entrance of his house. Some visitor friend made a comment- "

Bohr! You are a scientist but still believe in superstitions " . The scientist

replied, " I do not know. But it works! "

To me it looks, our present knowledge of science is limited and we should

not brand every other thing

a superstition if it can not be evaluated and analyzed on the basis of

presently known laws of science!

Dear Punitji ,

As you know in our KP astrology no remidies are given for sorting or reducing

the bad effect of kundli . In lalkitab it is there , if we go with lalkitab &

suggest some upay , will it work?,

I am just started reading on lalkitab through forum, can you suggest any book

(lalkitab) or study material,or even lalkitab expert name , such as we have

 seniors in our KP group like tinwinji, lutharji, you, Dhanbalanji,etc. Lalkitab

based astrology is untouched for me till now.

seems strange to me. The fact, the first edition (1939 edition) was based on

palmistry only. In all the examples given in Lal Kitab " Vishay ke Sahayak

Kuch Udhaharan " , chart based on palm has been given equal importance as

birth chart. In my opinion, Lal Kitab is the only book available book of

present time that dealt with Astro-Palmistry with that level of detail.

Other books like book by L. R. Chawdhary and R.G. Rao are just at surface

level if we compare them with Lal Kitab.

Dear Neeraj ji,

 

KP System doesn't deny remedies but simply says that people will be able to

perform remedy only if they are destined for that. Now, in absence of any

method that tells who is destined and who is not, it becomes a complicated

matter.

 

My thought is that *we should NOT mix both the methods* and understand power

and limitation of each system. If we can identify a problem using the rules

given in Lal Kitab, then only we should suggest Lal Kitab remedies. In other

words, it is not advisable to identify a planet is malefic in KP chart and

perform Lal Kitab remedy for that.

 

We have quite a few good Lal Kitab astrologers in this forum. This is not as

active as our KP forum, though I have seen that Kulbir ji, Leekha ji etc.

contributing regularly to this forum. I am also planning to contribute

regularly to this forum.
