Guest guest
Dear Kulbir bhai, I think we are diverting our selves from LK learning to some other theory. burning of bamboo(baans) is prohibited in vedic/hindu theory? do u have any proof that LK restrict it. if yes please share it with us. ii) using of dung in aggarbatti, may be but in lal kitab we use cow urine for dropping on floor, Gohey for burning of saunf etc, feeding of cow is also recommended on several places. iii) burning of jot of desi ghee when suraj te shuker doosrey, let us debate on it. Let us have healthly discussions, I am not an expert like u all, regards, s leekha lalkitab , " kulbirbains " <kulbirbains wrote: > > dera sleekhas ji, i would like to draw ur attention to the fact that > aggarbatis usually contain bamboo stick parts and burning of bamboo is > prohibited. secondly in the manufature of agarbattis, very old > decomposed manure/dung is used to keep it burning continuously. > secondly burning of jot of desi ghee is prohibited for people with > shukra and sun in second house. > > > Kulbir Bains >
Guest guest
Dear Leekha ji, i) the prohibition of burning bamboo is neither from Vedic nor Lal Kitab. This is a folk tradition. The tradition comes from the arthi of a dead man. Since the arthi is made of bamboo and is burnt along with the dead body. Therefore burning bamboo in any form is not considered auspicious. Coming to the Lal Kitab, burning bamboo would mean destroying Mercury. It wouldn't be wise to destroy buddhi. Lal Kitab follows century old collective folk wisdom, known as folk tradition. Even though it may not be mentioned in the Lal Kitab as such, but we have our own intelligence to figure it out. ii) cow dung and urine is very commonly used in most of the Indian homes. Upale of dung are also used for cooking. But using dung for burning before a deity in any form and creating smoke [ rahu ] may not be advisable. iii) desi ghee is an ashiya of Venus. With Venus and Sun placed in 2nd , the house of Venus, it will not be advisable to destroy Venus by burning it because it will weaken the Venus even further. Remember Venus is already withered in the company of the Sun. Sincerely, KP Miglani lalkitab , " sleekhas " <sleekhas wrote: > > Dear Kulbir bhai, > > I think we are diverting our selves from LK learning to some other > theory. > > burning of bamboo(baans) is prohibited in vedic/hindu theory? > do u have any proof that LK restrict it. if yes please share it with > us. > > ii) using of dung in aggarbatti, may be but in lal kitab we use cow > urine for dropping on floor, Gohey for burning of saunf etc, feeding > of cow is also recommended on several places. > > iii) burning of jot of desi ghee when suraj te shuker doosrey, let us > debate on it. > > Let us have healthly discussions, I am not an expert like u all, > > regards, > s leekha > > lalkitab , " kulbirbains " <kulbirbains@> wrote: > > > > dera sleekhas ji, i would like to draw ur attention to the fact that > > aggarbatis usually contain bamboo stick parts and burning of bamboo > is > > prohibited. secondly in the manufature of agarbattis, very old > > decomposed manure/dung is used to keep it burning continuously. > > secondly burning of jot of desi ghee is prohibited for people with > > shukra and sun in second house. > > > > > > Kulbir Bains > > >

Guest guest
Respected S leekhas ji, I mentioned the use of dung that is really decomposed. such decomposed dung is used for manure in fields not in homes. fresh dung is used for pasting the kacha floors ( an item of venus) it is believed that the digestive system of cow destroys or absorbs the malefic tendency of barley etc and therefore cow dung is treated as auspicious. the cow-dung cakes used for cooking are round in shape and dries but not decomposed.and the decomposed ones are not used but discarded. the dung used in agarbatis is decomposed very much. its colour turns to black from brown. brown ones are used for burning and pasting. in the case of jyot, the batti is made of pure cotton and put in ghee, both items of shudh venus. when we light it, venus is burnt by the heat of sun. sun is natural enemy of venus. if the tewa has such a combination that sun is harming venus, this act further acts as a catalyst. miglani ji has already explained it and the bamboo part. thanx and regards kulbir. lalkitab , " sleekhas " <sleekhas wrote: > > Dear Miglani ji, > > I am too small to comment but need some guidence submitting in BOLD, > > > > > i) the prohibition of burning bamboo is neither from Vedic nor Lal > > Kitab. Guest guest
Dear Leekha ji, 1) Yes there are quite a few things that are associated with funeral. Most of those things are prohibited to do in our every day routine life. For example while taking the dead body to the shamshan three pind are placed on his chest, in the first bhoj ceremony three rotis are given to the people assembled. In our every day life it is prohibited to serve three rotis in the thali of any person when offering him food. Similarly the ghara in which the tarpan water is carried to the shamshan is broken at the end of the ceremony, in our daily life if a water filled ghara gets broken it is considered as a bad omen. And so on... 2 ) Kulbir ji did not object to jot, he objected to dhoop being burned because it contained dung, or burning that dhoop which contained dung. Talking of charanamrit at the temples, it is not the cow dung which is used; it is the cow urine. 3) there is a difference in burning some thing and eating it. Eating an ashiya of a planet means strengthening the planet, while burning it means destroying the planet. In the case of the same combination of Venus + Sun it is advised that one of the couple should stop eating Gur [ sun ]. Because by eating Gur he/she will strengthen the Sun and hence depress the Venus even further. As for burning, in the case of Saturn the Lal Kitab advises that such a person should not roast almonds in the pakki sham, because burning or roasting amounts to destroying. Guest guest
Respected Miglaniji / Leekhaji & Kulbirji, I'd first like to share that these are very personal comments / thoughts and should be taken in good spirit. I believe if people start taking into consideration all such minor things like burning of agarbatti / dhup / jot etc., How can a person live peacefully bcaz then before every act, one has to think twice. Tomorrow, theer can be a point that a particular person can't bath bcaz water will be flown away from that individual etc.and water represents moon with some placement of planets etc. I can say for sure that even if this is true , a person has to bath Another point, we make rotis / chappatis on tawa which is black and may be consider as SHANI with roti cud be " something ( sun etc.), we are mixing 2 planets and that may be dangerous. In short, I believe there is a thin line between faith and superstition and I am struggling to draw that line. Need help from all you schoalrs to clear all such doubts. Respectfully Yours, Bhupidner --- sleekhas <sleekhas wrote: > Dear Miglani ji, > > I am too small to comment but need some guidence > submitting in BOLD, > > > > > i) the prohibition of burning bamboo is neither > from Vedic nor Lal > > Kitab. Guest guest
dear bhupinder ji, first of all let us have one thing very clear that lk talks about the big losses and gap driven by the planets. i) making of smoke (rahu)whether created by dhoop/burning of wood etc in house is prohibited because it directly hit hawa( brihspat). ii) things are directly related to star position, it never says that person should not take bath with water(chander) but it recommends that persons with weak rahu should take bath with water by mixing some milk in it. since rahu can only be controlled by chandra. iii) cooking of chappati on iron tawa, bhai take this as healthy discussion not take it like this. any respected member can ask tommarow we should not take breath if brihspat is week. Lk restrict use of things which are in auspicious not in general. if we generally analyz the horo of people who ask for remedies, generally ask questions when brihspat is either in dasha or anterdasha or in general prashanlagna, it says that person should get benefitted with remedies asked. dear it is very vast subject just we all are trying to decode it, let us hope for the best. regards, s leekha lalkitab , bhupinder johar <bsjoharsnp wrote:h > > Respected Miglaniji / Leekhaji & Kulbirji, > > I'd first like to share that these are very personal > comments / thoughts and should be taken in good > spirit. > > I believe if people start taking into consideration > all such minor things like burning of agarbatti / dhup > / jot etc., How can a person live peacefully bcaz then > before every act, one has to think twice. > > Tomorrow, theer can be a point that a particular > person can't bath bcaz water will be flown away from > that individual etc.and water represents moon with > some placement of planets etc. I can say for sure that > even if this is true , a person has to bath > > Another point, we make rotis / chappatis on tawa which > is black and may be consider as SHANI with roti cud be > " something ( sun etc.), we are mixing 2 planets and > that may be dangerous. > > In short, I believe there is a thin line between faith > and superstition and I am struggling to draw that > line. > > Need help from all you schoalrs to clear all such > doubts. > > Respectfully Yours, > Bhupidner > --- sleekhas <sleekhas wrote: > > > Dear Miglani ji, > > > > I am too small to comment but need some guidence > > submitting in BOLD, > > > > > > > > > i) the prohibition of burning bamboo is neither > > from Vedic nor Lal > > > Kitab. Guest guest
dear kulbir ji, one thing is to be cleared, burning have two things one is heat and second is fire. heat is related to sun and fire is related to shani. heating(sun) not friendly with ghee(shukra) can be understandable. but burning (jyot)(shani) of shee(shukra) are friendly should not be taken as inauspicious. Let us also have learned gurus view on it. regards, s leekha lalkitab , " kulbirbains " <kulbirbains wrote: > > Respected S leekhas ji, > I mentioned the use of dung that is really decomposed. such > decomposed dung is used for manure in fields not in homes. fresh > dung is used for pasting the kacha floors ( an item of venus) it is > believed that the digestive system of cow destroys or absorbs the > malefic tendency of barley etc and therefore cow dung is treated as > auspicious. > the cow-dung cakes used for cooking are round in shape and dries but > not decomposed.and the decomposed ones are not used but discarded. > the dung used in agarbatis is decomposed very much. its colour turns > to black from brown. brown ones are used for burning and pasting. > in the case of jyot, the batti is made of pure cotton and put in > ghee, both items of shudh venus. when we light it, venus is burnt by > the heat of sun. sun is natural enemy of venus. > if the tewa has such a combination that sun is harming venus, this > act further acts as a catalyst. > miglani ji has already explained it and the bamboo part. > thanx and regards > kulbir. > lalkitab , " sleekhas " <sleekhas@> wrote: > > > > Dear Miglani ji, > > > > I am too small to comment but need some guidence submitting in > BOLD, > > > > > > > > > i) the prohibition of burning bamboo is neither from Vedic nor > Lal > > > Kitab. Guest guest
Bhupinder ji, lalkitab describes a way of life. regarding jyot agarbatti and cooking the questions have been answered in the recent posts in the forum. about cooking and eating please read miglani ji's input of roasting badaams and abandoning eating of gur. coming to bathing. the planets items are divided into degrees as u have asked about articles of moon. throwing used water will not have such effect as if u throw milk in bathroom outlet. similarily we boil water in our daily routine but if you boil silver in water it brings in disastrous results. in various planatary positions e.g mars 8 spilling of boiled milk is termed inauspicious but water is not a consideration. also there are remedies where sprinkling water or milk over hot tawa is recommended. kulbir. And so on... Q. THINGS ARE NOT USED IN THAT FORMAT IN TOTALALITY BUT PART OF IT IS BEING USED. THEN WHY BAMBOO COMPLETLY.ANY SPECIFIC REASON OR WE ARE FOLLOWING TRADITION. BANSALS ARE NOT USING IT AS BANS AND BANSALS HAVE SOME NAME SIMILARITY. WHY OTHERS ARE NOT USING IT. IF GO BY URDU THAN BEY,ALIF, NOON, SEEN ARE COMMEN IN BOTH ONLY LAST ALIF AND LAM LEFT. ANY IDEA I THINK WE SHOULD ALSO DECODE THIS. > > 2 ) Kulbir ji did not object to jot, he objected to dhoop being > burned because it contained dung, or burning that dhoop which > contained dung. > Talking of charanamrit at the temples, it is not the cow dung which > is used; it is the cow urine. HERE STATEMENTS ARE CONTRDICTORY. WE SHOULD EAT THING RELATED TO BENFIC PLATES? MEANS PEOPLE WITH UCH SHANI SHOULD DRINK WINE? LK SAYS IF MANGAL IS UCH TO SUPPORT IT PERSON WILL INTAKE SALT IN EXCESS TO GIVE STRENTH TO SATURN AND WISE VERSA FOR SWEET AND SALT. ROASTING OF ALMOND IN OIL/GHEE IS PROHIBITED FOR PEOPLE WITH NEECH SHANI AND BURNING OF COCONUT IS BANNED FOR PEOPLE WITH NEECH RAHU. Guest guest
Dear Shamender, it is written for rahu in house number 11 that a dhuandani (chimney) from which smoke rises to sky is not good. If brahspati is weak Lk doesn't restricts breathing but restricts smoking cigrates/ hooka without a silver pipe. can u cite from the book as to where it is mentioned at other places that smoke should not be made in house. no offence meant but saving mt time. bathing with dahi ( washing genitals) is recommended for controling hyperactive venus. tilak of dahi or doodh is recommneded for saturn in 2nd house to molify it. kulbir lalkitab , " sleekhas " <sleekhas wrote: > > dear bhupinder ji, > > first of all let us have one thing very clear that lk talks about > the big losses and gap driven by the planets. > > i) making of smoke (rahu)whether created by dhoop/burning of wood > etc in house is prohibited because it directly hit hawa( brihspat). > ii) things are directly related to star position, it never says that > person should not take bath with water(chander) but it recommends > that persons with weak rahu should take bath with water by mixing > some milk in it. since rahu can only be controlled by chandra. > iii) cooking of chappati on iron tawa, bhai take this as healthy > discussion not take it like this. any respected member can ask > tommarow we should not take breath if brihspat is week. > > Lk restrict use of things which are in auspicious not in general. > > if we generally analyz the horo of people who ask for remedies, > generally ask questions when brihspat is either in dasha or > anterdasha or in general prashanlagna, it says that person should > get benefitted with remedies asked. dear it is very vast subject > just we all are trying to decode it, let us hope for the best. > > > regards, > s leekha > > > lalkitab , bhupinder johar <bsjoharsnp@> > wrote:h > > > > Respected Miglaniji / Leekhaji & Kulbirji, > > > > I'd first like to share that these are very personal > > comments / thoughts and should be taken in good > > spirit. > > > > I believe if people start taking into consideration > > all such minor things like burning of agarbatti / dhup > > / jot etc., How can a person live peacefully bcaz then > > before every act, one has to think twice. > > > > Tomorrow, theer can be a point that a particular > > person can't bath bcaz water will be flown away from > > that individual etc.and water represents moon with > > some placement of planets etc. I can say for sure that > > even if this is true , a person has to bath > > > > Another point, we make rotis / chappatis on tawa which > > is black and may be consider as SHANI with roti cud be > > " something ( sun etc.), we are mixing 2 planets and > > that may be dangerous. > > > > In short, I believe there is a thin line between faith > > and superstition and I am struggling to draw that > > line. > > > > Need help from all you schoalrs to clear all such > > doubts. > > > > Respectfully Yours, > > Bhupidner > > --- sleekhas <sleekhas@> wrote: > > > > > Dear Miglani ji, > > > > > > I am too small to comment but need some guidence > > > submitting in BOLD, > > > > > > > > > > > > > i) the prohibition of burning bamboo is neither > > > from Vedic nor Lal > > > > Kitab.
