Guest guest
when a recommendation is made for a precious gem to be worn, is the stone selected by: 1)the malefic planet or the exalted planet? 2)from natal, moon or annual chart? 3)what if there are multiple malefic or multiple exalted planets how do you determine which stone would be more beneficial to the native? If at all possible can you as well indicate stones that may be substituted for these more expensive gems if this is possible. Please give me a suggestion on the stone that I should wear. Guest guest
LalKitab system almost never recommends gems. Please consult a good vedic astrologer for that sort of advice. A word to the wise though - the gems are generally overpriced and a lot of what is out there is fake stuff. I've had numerous people tell me horror stories about it. Incidentally, if someone prescribes you a gem without your time and place of birth, rest assured, they don't know what they are talking about - avoid such " astrologers " Rajinder Bhatia ebrooklyn wrote: when a recommendation is made for a precious gem to be worn, is the stone selected by: 1)the malefic planet or the exalted planet? 2)from natal, moon or annual chart? 3)what if there are multiple malefic or multiple exalted planets how do you determine which stone would be more beneficial to the native? Guest guest
Respected Bhatia ji, I believe that Pt.Roopchand ji did not prohibit wearing gems. On the contrary he has used gems in quite a few upaya like lahsunia or hauldali for Ketu. If you happen to see the upaya to be done for malefic planets at the time of marriage he has mentioned diamonds, pearls, corals for various planets. I agree with you when you say that most of the time the gems sold are junks and not of astrology quality. But if a person is prepared to pay the price he can get really good astrology quality gems in the market. These gems are very expensive. The gems precribed by a learned astrologer definitely help in astrological matters. Guest guest
Dear Miglani Sahib, I never said that Pt jee " prohibited " wearing gems. In fact, I used the word " almost " as a qualifier. The original query was about wearing gems and not about donation or flowing in river etc. etc. at the time of the marriage. Being overcharged and getting inferior and fake gems is a complaint that I am hearing from many friends and family members. But your point is well taken. Sir, I had requested you to help us out in analyzing our reader's horoscopes. Nobody else is coming forward to help us. May I please request you again to take a few horoscopes. Many people are waiting for analysis and I know you will do a wonderful job. Won't you help, please? Thanks. Respectfully, Rajinder Bhatia kpmiglani <kpmiglani wrote: Respected Bhatia ji, I believe that Pt.Roopchand ji did not prohibit wearing gems. Guest guest
Dear Bhatia ji, I remember you asking me to analyse and suggest upaya for a few Kundalis even earlier also. I did not want to say for the fear it might be taken as a self advertisement that I am a professional Vedic astrologer. My moon is in the 12th house and it is prohibited for me to give any free consultations, I think you would know that with moon in the 12th one should not give any free advice. I have been learning Lal Kitab for the last few years and therefore love participating in the discussions. sincerely, KP Miglani lalkitab , Rajinder Bhatia <rajinderbhatia2002 wrote: > > Dear Miglani Sahib, > I never said that Pt jee " prohibited " wearing gems. Guest guest
Respected Bhatia ji,Dear members, after reading shri miglani's querry i searched the books and found that. 1. 1952 edition page 955 line 4-5 says dhahine hath ki ANGUTHI mein neelam rahu ki zahira aur poshida sharaton se bachaye rakhegha. 2. lahsuniya / hauldari is recommended for brahspat rahu in khanna no.2 3. dhoodh ranga moti for moon, diamond or shell for budh, dull red coral/moonga for mars, do ranga pathar cat's eye for ketu has been mentioned. lalkitab discusses general principles and some empty blanks are required to be filled in by the readers on the understanding of that principles. if neelam is specifically mentioned in lalkitab to be worn in a ring in a finger then why can't this principle be applied to other gems? The very basis for shunning the use of gems is that lalkitab recommends only less expensive upayas. but this is never written in lalkitab. Pandit ji must be knowing the price of diamond and neelam when he wrote such in lalkitab. about quality and price the principle of cavet emptor or buyer beware is applicable every where be it a ganth of haldi or an expensive pukhraj. The institution of certifying and registering gems is there in india. Can we stll say with authority that use of gems as remedial items is against the principles of lalkitab? kulbir bainslalkitab , Rajinder Bhatia <rajinderbhatia2002 wrote: > > LalKitab system almost never recommends gems. Guest guest
Dear Miglani jee, My Moon is in 12th too. I don't ever charge from friends and acquaintances. But when I get one of the mass mailings for advice from total strangers who want the answer " yesterday " and (at least some of them) write to every possible forum, I, keeping in mind my Moon 12, ask for a fees. All I can say is that I don't keep the money with me. " is par bhee suna hai ke zamaane ko gilaa hai. " I appreciate your point and respect that. Best regards, Rajinder Bhatia kpmiglani <kpmiglani wrote: Dear Bhatia ji, I remember you asking me to analyse and suggest upaya for a few Kundalis even earlier also.
