Guest guest
Friends, It is with great pleasure that I am forwarding an Email by Shri Nirmal Bhardwaj announcing the availability of an exact Hindi transliteration of LalKitab (teesra hissa) - 1941, also known as the 'gutka'. Shri Yograj Prabhakar had been working on this for many long months and finally his labour has paid off for the benefit of the entire LalKitab community. I have not seen the final book yet ( I live far away from Patiala, India) but I have had numerous phone conversations with Shri Yograj about it and I know that this book has been designed with superior paper and the binding is very close to the original Lal Kitab that was released in 1941 by Pt Rup Chand Joshi. The aim was to bring out a book which shall remain in ones collection for years and years to come and not fade off quickly. As far as the quality of the transliteration is concerned, it is marvelous (I have seen the first few hundred pages.) The original book has been reproduced extremely faithfully - the pages and the line contents are exactly like the original book. So as not to interfere with the original contents but to make the difficult words comprehensible, a generous glossary of difficult Urdu, Persian and Punjabi words has been given at the end of the book. For the experts and the learners of LalKitab, this is a great learning tool. You have the original text in your hands - you don't need to rely on the third-rate caricatures of LalKitab that are available in the market. The year 2007 has been a very eventful year for LalKitab. Earlier last month, Pt Goswami jee had released the Hindi transliteration of the rare 1940 book, Lal Kitab ke Armaan and now Shri Yograj jee has released Lal Kitab (teesra hissa) (1941.) Is the transliteration of the remaining two original Lal Kitabs on the horizon? Let us hope so. On the behalf of the entire LalKitab community, our heartiest congratulations to Shri Yograj and AstroStudents group for a job extremely well done and heartiest thanks for making this classic available to all. Respectfully, Rajinder Bhatia ************************************************************** The following is Sh Nirmal Bhardwaj's Email.... ************************************************************** Dear Friends, It is a matter of pride for me to announce this historical event that with the grace of God and Ashirwad of Pt.
