A Yatra to Pt ji's Native Village

Two weeks ago I alongwith Shri Kulbir Singh Bains and PK Sharma went

for the Yatra to Pundit Roop Chand Joshi's native place Pharwala. It

was our long pending dream to visit the holy land of Pharwala, but due

to some reason or another we were unable to fulfil this desire. But

this time Shri Kulbir Singh Bains strictly instructed me and Shri PK

Sharma ji to kept all our preaccoupations pending and went to Pharwala

in his car. This was a divine experience for all of us. Al of us are

still under the hangover of this journey.

 

We also took some photographs (with our cellphones) of Pundit ji's

Baithak and sorrounding area, I have uploaded these pictures in groups

photo section.

Yograj Jee,

Thank you so much for putting the pictures on the net. For me personally, it

has brought back numerous memories dating all the way to the mid 60's. The doors

used to be painted green and so was the furniture inside - Pt Jee's big circular

table and the big iron chairs, all used to be painted green. It appears that the

doors are now painted blue. Well, times have changed, I guess.
