You should donate a black iron tawaa (used for making chapatis) to a laborer working at a new house that is under construction. Also drop five dry coconuts -- no " milk " (water) in them -- in running water. Both these upayas must be done during daylight hours preferabley before 3 PM. and there should be a gap of at least two weeks between the two. Always dress nicely and conservatively. At the time of your marriage, send good quality rice equal to your own weight to your in-laws' house BEFORE you get there. I can't make predictions about other issues. Good luck.
