To, All the respected Sir,

 

I am having little bit confusion about Benefic and

Malefic effects

of planets.

01 The planets are benefic and malefic by its nature

for example

Sun-> Malefic, Moon->Benefic, Jupitor->Benefic

and so on………………

02 As per Lal-Kitab, the planets are also malefic

and Benefic

as per their placement in the houses :

for exmaple : the sun is benefic if it is placed in

house

1 to 5, 8,9,11 and 12.

02 Under chapter of Remedies and Effect, the

housewise effects

of plantes are given with condition of its

benefic/maleficness :

for exmaple :

The results of sun in House-1 are as under :

If the sun is Malefic in House-1 , the result and

remedies would

be so on……………………

If the sun is Benefic in House-1, then the result and

remedies

would be so on……………………

MY QUESTION

IF SUN IS ALREADY IDENTIFIED AS BENEFIC OR MALEFIC

 

IN HOUSE-1 ON THE BASIS OF ITS PLACEMENT THEN WHAT

 

OTHER CRITERIA ARE REQUIRED TO DECIDE ITS BENEFIC

 

OR MALEFICNESS IN THE PARTICULAR HOUSE ?

Sir, as per lalkitab the planets placed in the horoscope are to be taken as a

complete unit. considering isolated planets does not shows a complete picture.

the planet can be malefic or benefic depending upon 3 main conditions.

1. plants own placement.

2. placement of other planets. its friends, enemies , pitri rin etc.

3. the most important condition PALANA i.e. living in accordance with the

boundaries defined a planatary position. e.g not undetaking daan of barred items

of that planet, upkeeping healthy relation with the living items of that planet.

i.e like respecting family priest for guru, respecting small girls, sisters

aunts for budh.etc. avoiding items that have negative influence for that planet.

eg. drinking for uch shani.etc.

the malefic benefic event list is a quick checklist for diagonising the

negative tendency of that planet thereby prompting upayas.
