I have gone through Lal Kitab recently & fond it very interesting Specially the remedies,however feel that understanding the basis of prediction in book can open doors for real help to society. will be grateful if any member put light on basic principals N theory behind the write-up . Group Moderator ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ dear Kaushikji, the basic idea of Pt.roop chand ji was to make people get rid of so called pundits and astrologers. His aim was that people should go to pundit only once to get the horoscope prepared; after that the pople should read Lal Kitab and make use of astrology themselves; that is one reason varsha phal of 120 years has been tabulated by him. The only difference from vedic astrology as i understand is that lal kitab does not give importance to rashi,the main stress is on grah and the houses. He had an advice for pundits also.Pundit may charge anything for preparing the horoscope but not for making predictionas and telling remedies--he himself did not charge anything and as par his words,lal kitab ki kamai khana haram hai. It was even rumoured that Lal Kitab can not be printed by any body-there is a curse on it and shallause harm to the person and the printing press.
