Guest guest
HELLO namaskar to all, I am studying Parasar last 15/20 years and Lal Kitab since last 5/6 years. I am confused about (paintish sala chakkar)35 year circulation (Dasha) mentioned in Lal Kitab in Varshfala. Please clearify simply or in details if possible. Thanks in anticipation. leftraju
Guest guest
Respected Mr. Left raju The 35 years cycle is a unique part of lalkitab & i think u must read completely about the ages & RAFTAAR aam daura ke saal & rahu ketu into the circle of budh .In general this part indicates to make varshfal based upon the incidents of life. But i think there is some calculation ,which implies as antardasha.there is an indication in lalkitab which says-- 35 saalaa chakkar ke sabab baap bete ki umra ka bahami talluk 70 saal main mana jaataa hai.At another side lalkitab says -12 sal se pehley bachchey ki taqdir ka koi aitbaar nahi aur 70 saal ke baad mard ki apni kismat ka koi aitbaar nahi bachchon ki kismat hogi to khud 70 ya 72 hoga.gaur se dekhiye ki 12 saal 70 saal aur 72 saal kuchh indicate ker rahey hain.Shayd inmain koi baat ho.Ismain 70 saal to samajh main aataa hai ki 35 into 2 = 70. & 36 into 2=72.but 12 years r in suspicious condition & i think the 35 years cycle will be calculated from 1 to 12 years. Now the main question is unsolved how we start 35 year cycle & from which planet saturn or jupiter. It is in dark. But it is not so much in dark i think we will reach at result if we will try. Guest guest
Helloji, Although LK speaks of 12 years and 70 years for the purpose of not predicting anything, except balarishta. It stats upto 12 years the native remains a child and after 70 years the native depends upon his children. The vedic astrology also states that one should not predict the future of a child till 12 years. The first 4 years the child bear the papa-punya of the mother, next 4 years upto 8 yearsit depends upon the papa-punya karma of the father and the next 4 years from 8 to 12 it depends upon the childs own. Thus the first 12 years is not taken up for the purpose of prediction of the child. As for the age after 70 years, the Naissargik dasa indicates that the 1st year of the birth of the child it is the Moon, 2-3 it is the Mars, the next 9 years of the Mercury, the next 20 years of the Venus, the next 18 years of the Jupiter, the next 20 years Sun, the next 50 years of the Saturn, as the Saturn is considered the death inflicting planet. From 70 to 120 years it is the Saturn takes care of. Otherwise after 70 years one becoms pale, weak and unable to do anything in general. That is why it is considered that one should not consider the age after 70 years. What is Lal Kitab, of course there have been different set of rules, yet it comes from the original astrology, the main imortance in LK considers to be the curative measure, according to the configuration of planets under its karakatwa. I am not an expert on LK. But I have read it and I am understanding it, a little bit. Guest guest
Dear Astro nambiar, I am very new in this group, but I am very familiar with traditional hindu astrology and slowly getting more and more familiar with lal Kitab also. You have mentioned Varaha Mihira's Naisargika Dasa which seems to contain a kind of " hidden " description of the traditional division of longevity into short life 0-32 years, medium 32-70 years and long life 70-120 years. I think perhaps the 35-years cycle of Lal Kitab has taken its inspiration from Varaha Mihira and his Naisargika Dasa in as much as there are two 35 years cycles contained within the 70 years (limit of medium longevity) and the maximum number of years mentioned in Lal Kitab is 120 years exactly as mentioned in Varaha Mihira's books. Guest guest
Dear Finn, You have rightly indicated and all what is written is the same 120 years cycle but split ino two that is all , nothing new to it. But to understand it is a trick hidden there in LK and the Great Varamhira is not hidden it is quie clear. Thanks and at the same time I wish you to comment further inasmuch as you can so tht the subject gets cleared. Guest guest
Dear Astronambiar, There is special interpretation of Chapter 2, Sloka 1 in Brihat Jataka of Varahamihira, which most astrologers are not aware of. It is the sloka where the order of the nine planets are being presented, but really it is like a 'hidden' Dasha-system that can be used for all horoscopes. Dasha means 10, and in this particular sloka, actually 10 factors are being mentioned, i.e. the 9 planets and the Kala Purusha, i.e. the personification of time, which also refer to the zodiacal signs or the Ascendant. According to this special interpretation these 10 factors forms a 10-year cycle, running over and over again all through the life of the person. It runs like this: Sun = 1st year (...and 11th, 21th, 31st years etc.) Moon = 2nd year (...and 12th, 22nd, 32nd etc.) Mars = 3rd year Merc = 4th year Jup = 5th year Ven = 6th year Sat = 7th year Rahu = 8th year Ketu = 9th year Asc = 10th year What we have here is a kind of basic time-pattern, that runs in the background, modified by the effects of Dasa, transits etc. It is however an example of an astrological method inspired by the writings of Varahamihira. In my opinion the 35 years cycle of Lal Kitab has something in common with both this 10 years cycle and the Naisargika Dasa, since none of these three methods need any calculation since the running periods are the same in all charts depending upon the age of the persons.
