Mars (2:40) is placed in the first house. Mercury is a malefic planet for you and you are currently in Dasha period Me/Me/Ju, which started in Sept 2003. This dasha will continue till 2020 and then you will start the dasha of malefic Ketu. Your query is Re: mental agony and debts, which you have been experiencing since 1990. Re: your other question, For enterprises, I would look at the houses/lords of 1st, 10th and 3rd as well as planets Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn and those placed in the 3rd house. The dasha-bhukti periods of these associated planets gives inclinations for business. 10th lord Saturn is strong and well placed, aspects, 3rd lord Mercury, who is placed in its own house. 1st lord Mars is well placed, but weak. Sun's strength adds to the organizational ability, and its strength adds to the chances of success. Sun, placed in 3rd is also weak due to infancy. Sun is also debilitated in Navansha. Venus is weak due to old age, but well placed. Placement & strength of Jupiter as well as 9th lord contributes to the element of luck blessing the native with easy success. Jupiter is well placed and strong in the chart. There is no ill aspect on the 4th house and its lord, Moon is strong in the chart. 2nd house is also unafflicted and so is the 11th house of earnings. Sun and Moon are not afflicted by Rahu, which causes sudden suffering and losses or losses or loss of reputation and causes problems with the state agencies. Placement of 3rd lord (Mercury) in 3rd has given you the inclination for business, since you are in the operating period of Mercury. The influence of Saturn and its strength perhaps goads you towards engineering, construction etc. types of business. Its association with 9th house also shows rising of fortune and wealth earnings due by persistent efforts. Strength and placement of Jupiter makes you fortunate.
