Well I should make it clear that LK is based on instincts and not reason, and the methods used in LK are vague and cant be easily comprehended. Now Mars is Karak for building, property, houses in vedic astrology, but LK makes Saturn as karaka for all these, and its position in different houses corresponds to construction of houses for self. But LK tells us of only construction of houses not buying. Now I think most experts would puzzle why Saturn in 5 th is not good for children when one starts constructing a house for self. But I've tried my best to reply to your question with the utmost worthy answer it deserves. So after pressing my brain I came to conclusion that Saturn when placed in 5 th aspects 9 th( LK aspect), and 9 th in turn aspects 5 th via 1 st house with friendly aspect now 5 th is for children, 1 st is self, and Ketu is karaka for children in LK, now if a person starts construction then it would affect the children and self adversely, thus LK advises to build a house after 48 yrs of age which is the age of Ketu . Now second part of your query--- Yes Jupiter does give negative effects regarding elder siblings when placed alone in 11 th house as he is Karaka of eleventh house and elder siblings, but not on age factor because Jupiter never kills anyone. Yes its an LK remedy that by applying kesar on forhead one can place Jupiter in 1 st house, but vedic astrology only suggests this remedy to make Jupiter give better and positive results. You also the remedy for a chart posted----- ---> Ask the native of the chart to have " a silver idol of elephant (of any weight) ,put it then in a steel bowl filled with curd,cover the bowl with a black cloth, and on Wednesday ,during sunset the native should throw this bowl into running water " .Plz note that the elephant should have a bowed down trunk .
