Guest guest
Dear all, Remedies depend heavily on the topic of deities. Kindly throw light on the authentic classic works which allots deities for planets like in Prasna Marga. According to Prasna Marga,Deities for Mars in various signs are difficult to read from English translation from B.V.Raman.He has used '' etc " which opens a whole lot of possibilities. Kindly throw light on what the author of Prasna Marga states about Mars Thanks and best wishes vishnu

Guest guest
This is not so serious a concern over which one must spend time upon, is my sincere advise to you and others who may be looking for such inputs. If one is devoted to his family Kuldeivi, or Devata, thats more than enough. And it can be if found necessary by your Kuldevi, send you on the right path of which Bigger God to worship. In any case this is a personal desire of what one finds affinity with which image. Vishnu and Shiva, and then further forms of Vishnu. Same with Ambe Maa and her forms. Choose whatever you find more relating to your mindset. But do not keep changing this. Even ones Guru can guide you on your Diety. But if you like Krishna and he tells you to worship Rama, then you will again be in a fix. Because heart wants to worship Krishna while Guru says worship rama. So the best option is just to " Pray " and " Worship " whom YOU Like, and not depend on inputs received from outside. Hanumanji is a common factor to reach God, so no issues in worshippinhg Him too. regards, Bhaskar. , " Vishnu " <vishnumohanalj wrote: > > Dear all, > > Remedies depend heavily on the topic of deities. > > Kindly throw light on what the author of Prasna Marga states about Mars > > > Thanks and best wishes > > vishnu >

Guest guest
Dear Kanishk. Thanks for your inputsThe question is what deities do mars represent according to Prasna Marga or other classics?Mars represents Subramanya only when the sign is a odd one and also satwic .Not in other placesMaa durga is represented by moon when it is strong in a chart.-Prasna MargaThe acharya who told us that there are 12 signs and 9 planets have also told us the different types of deities .They have also given us hints to find out from the horoscope regarding which deities should be worshipped to overcome their problems. In some families the ishatadevata might be well taken care by the family. But the wrath may be due to wrongness done towards some other deitySome families do not know who their ishata devata is.I have seen astrologers who were to remind the seeker about the offerings they had once thought to offer to the god but later forgot just by seeing the chart.I am afraid the question here is not philosophical. Then it will all come down to either shiva or vishnu or Devi as the supreme deity. Here also there is ambiguity in accepting the divine one.The discussion is academic and the participation members who are experienced in advising the clients suitable deities for the problems in the horoscope will be usefulThanks and best wishesvishnu--- On Wed, 2/10/10, kanishk <kanishk.chakravarty wrote:kanishk <kanishk.chakravarty Re: Discussion on Dieties Date: Wednesday, February 10, 2010, 6:23 AM i Think Mars has deities, Hanumanji, Bhagwan Kartikeya, Maa Durga. regards, kanishk. Guest guest
If You are really looking for your Diety, then look for the 5th House, look for the placement of the Moon in the Natal Chart, Navamsa Chart, look for the ATmakaraka planet, look for the Vimsamsa chart, and then come to the conculsions. How many astrologers in India can do all this and let you know the correct Diety ? And what is the guarantee that they will tell you the correct Diety you should worship ? If You have seen astrologers doing this, then what inputs have you received from those astrologers ? If You know that the Acharyas have given different Dieties, then why do you doubt them, and why do you wish to confirm the same ? I will challenge anyone who is not an Acharya, who advises you on the Diety, as to how he could suggest you so ? and on what principles ? (In Nadi, the system is different. They will not only tell you whom you have wronged, but also tell you whom you should worship.) If You know all this, the what is the Query meant for ? Guest guest
If you look at the index thread, the query is regarding what mars in different signs represents, according to Prasna marga as there is usage of ''etc'' by the translator which brings a lot of possiblilites. The thread is also about how to choose which deity to worship according to the chart. If a same chart is taken to 3 different astrologers for a particular problem the native is facing, one is asked to worship 3 different deities. So i am interested to know on what basis they predict this? What is the classical reference or principle they follow? If one of them is correct, the other 2 should be wrong. There is a possibilty that all 3 could be wrong. But in practice most of the astrologers end their prediction suggesting a remedial measure to their client for their problem.//If You are really looking for your Diety, then look for the 5th House, look for the placement of the Moon in the Natal Chart, Navamsa Chart, look for the ATmakaraka planet, look for the Vimsamsa chart, and thencome to the conculsions.//Well i am talking about getting remedies for household problem in different stages of life for the native. The thread is misunderstood for spirituality and spiritual initiation. Thanks and best wishesvishnu--- On Wed, 2/10/10, Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish wrote:Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish Re: Discussion on Dieties Date: Wednesday, February 10, 2010, 6:59 PM If You are really looking for your Diety, then look for the 5th House, look for the placement of the Moon in the Natal Chart, Navamsa Chart, look for the ATmakaraka planet, look for the Vimsamsa chart, and then come to the conculsions.
