Guest guest
Dear Goel ji, I checked the longevity for your horoscope. As usual I have used Surya Siddhanta (Chandra hari) ayanamsa itself. As per the calculation Amsayu method gives the maximum expected longevity of 74 years 5 months and 16 days for your chart (your current age is 72 yrs 6 months and 20 days). Again proving the reliability of this method and the correctness of Surya siddhantic (Chandra hari) ayanamsa. The total calculations is given below (as copy-pasted from the excel worksheet)================== Longevity Harana (Deduction) Bharana (Addition) Serial Planet Sign Degree Minute House Count Malefic Enemy house Exalted / Retrograde Combust Vargottama / Swakshetra / Swamsa / Swa-Drekkana Std. Guest guest
Dear Sreenadh ji,We all have to agree on one aspect that when these methods of longevity were devised , only Siddhantic longitudes of planets were in use.Ayus of 75 years is very revealing because , in my case Mercury/Mars period is very adverse for my health. The question remains , should we not adopt moderndata which seems to be more near to actual position in the sky.As far as Ayanamsa is concerned , there is a situation which may not get resolved as in any case this is a assumedValue (a process was adopted to fixed zero degree of sidereal zodiac on someconsiderations which may not be purely astronomical in nature.)
