Dear Vijay Goel ji, The data you provided pissed me off! I have gone through the first chart of the mail only. Is that really a chart of a man who is already dead, or is he still alive? The reason for my asking this is that as per the planetary positions show 83 years of maximum longevity! If he died, it must be very recently! OK - here goes the calculation.==============================

Deduction

for enemy house is done for Jupiter and Ketu – i.e. 1/3 of longevity

provided by them should be deducted.Since

Mercury is exempted from Moudhya harana, deduction for combustion is not

done for any planet.Ketu a

3) Bharana (Addition)

Since

Moon is exalted and is in swamsa, avoiding multiple multiplication, its

longevity should be multiplied by three only.Since

Mars is exalted, its longevity should be multiplied by threeSince

Saturn is in own house, its longevity should be multiplied by twoJupiter

is in Vargottama, so its longevity should be multiplied by twoSun is

in swamsa, so its longevity should be multiplied by twoIn

Prarasa Drekkana, no planet is in swamsa – so no multiplication related to

the same is required.

Dear Vijay Goel ji, Again I am pissed off! In the second chart you provided, since the DOB is in 1987, it is well evident that the death took place before the age of 22. But the longevity calculations gives the maximum possible longevity as 68 years! If it is certain that this girl died already, is it a suicide? The 8th house is weak, its lord Jupiter placed in 12th and the antara of Saturn in 7th running. I feel that it must be a suicide that happened possibly in 2009 itself. Anyway, for educational purpose, here goes the longevity calculation.=================

Anyway, for educational purpose, here goes the longevity calculation.============ =====

Case 2: Provided by Vijay Goel

FemaleJuly 23, 1987Time: 2:37:17Time Zone: 5:30:00 (East of GMT)Place: 75 E 49' 00", 26 N 55' 00"Jaipur , India

I will use Harana (Deduction) first, Bharana (Addition) second style only for this chart.

2) Harana (Deduction)

Deduction for enemy house is done for Saturn and Rahu – i.e. 1/3 of longevity provided by them should be deducted.

Moudhya harana (deduction for combustion) is done for Mars – i.e. 1/2 of the longevity provided by Mars should be deducted

Jupiter a benefic is in 12th from Lagna, so 1/2 of its longevity is deducted

Rahu a malefic is in 11th from Lagna, so 1/2 of its longevity is deducted

Saturn a malefic is in 7th from Lagna, so 1/6th of its longevity is deducted

Except for Jupiter, Rahu and Saturn no planet is in drisyartha (visible half) and so deduction for being in visible half is not required for any other planet

Since there is no major malefic in lagna, Amsayu harana is not required for any planet

Dear Manoj ji,

Ha..Ha...OK. By the way, -

* This Navamsa based Ayurdaya calculation seems to be good and works fine in

charts where the death is NOT due to Sadyo Mritu yoga, Balarishta and

Yogarishta. This method does not cover deaths due to suicide, accidents etc also

itseems - even though in some cases the longevity seems to match.

* They also seems to be useful in locating the correct lagna sign where the

lagna falls in the brim. Ofcourse this could be useful only if the chart is

coming to us after the death of the native. For example, in Vivekandanda's chart

if we apply this method it will become well evident to us that his Lagna is

Sagittarius and not Capricorn.

* For this method to work correctly and provide correct longevity the Birth

Time available to us should be accurate - otherwise this method is of no use. To

ensure the accuracy of this method, I have checked it with the charts of many in

Nehru family - Nehru (74), Indira (66) and (46). In all cases it is giving near

to accurate value! That is what surprised me, and that is the very reason for me

spending some more time in this method with unknown data.

Note: Try this method yourself in some charts where you can be certain that the

BT is authentic and correct.

Love and regards,

Sreenadh

Respected big brother Sreenadh ji :),

Namesthe !

This Native died on 15-16th Jan 2007 midnight. Reasons : due to bad health.

Since this person was in good post in army, he maintained his health throughout

his life, but after 7O years of age he had the problems related to kidney,

basically he was also in tension due to his son.

Age at time of death he was 74 years one month fifteen days.

He had lot of affection with me, Just now flash of his magnificent personality

came in my mind.

******

It will require time to grasped the points you want to say :) in Ayurdaya

calculation :).

Thankyou,

Regards,

Vijay Goel

Dear Sreenadhji,

This young girl died on 11th aug 2008, due to failure of heart, i think she had

hole in heart from birth, i am not very sure. Her age at the time of death was

21 yrs one month 18 days.

When she came to me with her friend, i saw her hand full of criss -cross line

all over the palm [like a hand of patient and lack of energy], i only told her

to have positive attitude seriously and go for meditation, only after few weeks

i heard the news of her death, which shocked me.

Thankyou,

Regards,

Vijay Goel

Jaipur.

Dear Vijay Goel ji,

Expected Maximum longevity: 83 years 8 months 09 days

Actual Longevity experienced: 74 years 1 month 15 days

Not bad! It was expected/known that the " Expected Maximum Longevity "

(Longevity calculated from chart) will always be bit higher than the actual

longevity experienced. In this case also that is not much different. Good. The

only point is that he didn't live long enough as his chart granted him - which

is t!

I said, " if he died it must be recently " - true as per your statement he

passed away just 2 years back in 2007.

OK. What is your response on the second chart? If she died already what was

the reason for death? (Anyway that chart does not seems to be useful to verify

this Ayurdaya calculations, since the death seems to be caused by Yogarishta and

not a normal death)

Love and regards,

Sreenadh

Dear Vijay Goel ji,

Thanks for the feedback. In Aug 2008? That must be Jup dasa Ju antara itself.

Dasa and antara of 8th lord. Hum.... 8th lord in 12th.

Anyway, this chart does not seems to be good to verify our fully

mechanical/mathematical navamsaka based Ayurdaya calculation method, since it

must be Yogarishta that caused the abnormal death of the native.

The navamsa based longevity calculation is applicable usually only to normal

deaths after around 30 or so - and not deaths prior to that. It may become true

and applicable, if the death is due to accident, assassination etc (an opinion

derived based on the charts of Indira, Rajiv etc) for whom the age at the time

death is 30+ years at least. So please keep this in mind while providing charts

for verification of this method.

Love and regards,

Dear Vijay Goel ji,

//> You said it earlier all this precautions very clearly and i did understood

it :)) But you know i am a mischievous fellow :) //

Ha..Ha.. That is ok. But as you already know, we should try to apply/verify

this method in charts -

1) Normal death after the age of 30 and before 108

2) Deaths due to accident, assassination, disease etc between 30 to 108. (Here

we cannot be certain that the method will work fine; but the experiences

considered till now shows that it 'may' work here too).

It may not work correctly in charts where -

1) Death is due to Sadyo Mritu yoga, Balarishta or Yogarishta

2) Charts below the age of 30 years approx.

Also may be Sreenadh ji would like to ponder over which method of ayu to use on which chart. Amshayu, Pinda Ayu, Nisarga Ayu, Yogardaya Ayu etc. etc.,

And then as one poet had said, the date of death is fixed, so why lose sleep every night.....

Maut ka ek din muyayyan hai, neend kyon raat bhar nahin aati.....

Dear Manoj ji,

Yes, I will ponder over Pinda Ayu, Jeevasarmeeya Ayu as well in near future.

Any way ascribing/selecting one type of Ayu - out of Pinda Ayu, Jeevasarmeeya

Ayu, Amsayu - is NOT my choice or advice. Because the prime difference between

these systems is that different scholars felt those systems as more accurate and

depended on them in ALL situations. So I respect them all, and given a choice -

I will try all of them and then only come to a conclusion regarding which is my

favorite. Any way, there is a very less chance of suggesting things such us, use

this Ayu in if this condition is met, that if that condition is met etc. That do

not seem to be the path the ancient scholars followed at least regarding Pinda

Ayu, Jeevasarmeeya Ayu and Amsayu.

The following sages/scholars suggested the following -

Pindayu - Skanda, Daksha, Maya, Yavana, Manintha, Parasara; ALWAYS for all

Ayurdaya calculations.

Jeevasarmeeya Ayu - Skanda, Jeevasarma; ALWAYS for all Ayurdaya calculations.

Amsayu - Skanda, Satyacharya;ALWAYS for all Ayurdaya calculations.

//> And then as one poet had said, the date of death is fixed, so why lose sleep

every night.....//

Ha..Ha..Beautiful! I agree with you. :)
