The method uses placidus system of houses. The degrees and minutes mentioned against each house are the starting point for the house or bhavarambhas or beginning of the cusps. (On the other hand Vedic System uses Bhavamadhya method). You may also refer the first reader 'Casting of Horoscope' by Prof. KSK. Good Luck!
