Guest guest Posted December 2, 2006 Report Share Posted December 2, 2006 Dear Markji,The way I have read and understood my KP is as follows.Planet A is a significator of a bhava and is in star of Planet B and hence B shapes the role of planet A. While Planet C is the sub in which Planet A is in. This makes A either benefic or otherwise. For checking this again we go into the houses owned by the constellation B. Supposing the planet B rules the 8th house, then the planets in the same constellation will come under the sway of B. for eg. - if Sun is the ruler of the 8th house, then planets in the stars Uthiram, Uthirashadam and Karthigai will come under the influence of the 8th house.In other words, the 2nd house Lord will prove benefic to the matter signified by the 2nd house unless it does not occupy the constellation and sub of the significator of 6,8 and 12 houses.For eg. for Libra born, Mars is the lord of 2 and 7 signifying marriage to the person.Mars rules Mrigasira, Dhanishta and Chitra stars.If a planet occupies any one of these stars then the planet has to give the result of Mars.If the sub is governed by 11, then the person gets married during teh joint period. If the sub is governed by lord of 12, then marriage will not take place during the period of the planet governed by a sub which is lord of 12. So, the Lord of the constellation indicates the nature of the result and the sub shows it is desirable or undesirable In other words, if a planet is the significator of the lagna bhava, it gives the person long life, good health and success in his attempts.But the sub of the planet signifies 12th house one runs away or is imprisoned Signification of the 6th house by the sub will give illness.There can be 3 or 4 significators to a house, say the 7th house.Therefore during the period or sub-period of the planet in such a sub whose significator is the 12th house, then during the period or sub period of that planet, the native's wife will fall ill.
