Dear Gayatri The method you have followed, appears to be correct. However, you have to verify wether this corrected time, gives the correct dasa,bhukti,antara, and sooksma of the known event, then only you can be assured of the correctness of the TOB. Get the previous incidents from the native and do the check up. The other metod is the RP Method, based on the Axiom "RPs at birth are same as RPs at time of enquiry ". Try that and see what time you get. The ASC sub-lord Must be one of the RPS.
