In my opinion,

 

1) leave the horary & all.....1st check whether your current antardasha

is indicating a job change, is it signfies any of the houses 3,10,9,11

in permutations/combinations. If yes, then, there are chances of job

change. Also check whether mahadasha lord indicates any of these houses.

Also check which " Vidasha " is indicating change.

 

2) After step1, take RPs (when you feel very keen to know the answer) &

check whether the current antardasha lord is there or not in RPs.

Generally, as per my experience, the antardasha lord will come 1st in

RP.

 

3) Take horary no & check whether 10th sub lord indicates a change, if

yes, then the dasha & bhukti in which it's likely to happen. Even the

Horay no itself sometimes indicates the answer. It's given in the Vijay

Hazari's book.

 

4) As per my experience, in natal chart, rule of sun's transit doesn't

work, it is perfect for horary but, many a times, things doesn't work

out. Instead of that, dasha & bhukti lord transit is important.

 

At the end, remember that predicting things with accuracy is a

combination of Science + Art.
