You must therefore examine all these planets, to find out, if some of them could spoil contraception due to his own weakness or by vulnerability. Then you should avoid methods, indicated by this planet and during his period, because they can fail. The 7th house is important to let the partners agree and to avoid fakes of one of the partners. So you have to observe the 7th cusp as well, to find out, if you can trust a partner in birth control matters. Just read also, what Krishnamurthi writes about the sub 130 in Swati: (third reader, page 88) "Venus and Rahu go in for

In my eyes Swati is one of the most fruitful nakshatras. I am sceptical, to declare the combination of Rahu and Jupiter to be always good for birth control. Rahu`s character is against birth control and Rahu will always try to make contraceptive methods useless. Rahu`s main interest is to swallow and to increase and afterwards to lose, what he has swallowed and you can compare this planet - at least in the combination with Venus in Swati - with a womb, becoming larger and larger and finally bearing a child. Even if a couple decides for surgery under Rahu`s influence, either of the man or the woman, the possibility to become pregnant again, is given nevertheless. You might be aware of some rare cases, where sterilized

woman became pregnant or men produced semen and became father inspite of this surgery. This should be cases, where Rahu (or Neptune) played an important role. But opposite to this Rahu indicates invitro fertilization for example. Ketu can "absorb" hormonal medicaments in some cases (by diarrhoea or so). Fact is, that if a child is promised, this child will surely come - even if the couple is using two or more different contraceptive methods together. And a child cannot come, if it is not indicated and you can try it as often as you want. There is also no trust in calculative methods because I have observed pregnancies even shortly after menstruation.
