Results by Rahu and Ketu.

R/sir,

Predicting results which Rahu and Ketu might give in a horoscope

is a very difficult task which require thorough knowledge of the KP

System rules. the problems i face are as under:-

a] Rahu/Ketu are said to give results of the planet with which they

are in aspectfirst, then they give results of planet with which they

are in conjunction, then of their Lord and lastly of the Rashi-Swami

of the Rashi they are placed in.

Now the question that comes to my mind is that out of the four

conditions mentioned above the firsr three are general principles

which are applicable to any other planet. is there any spl reason to

mention them.

 

b] in a particular horoscope if Rahu/Ketu is in Makar Rashi but is

placed in DHANU cusp then will it give results of SHANI or GURU ?

c] if Rahu/Ketu is giving results of , say Ravi, then will Ravi

also give results of Rahu?

d]Rahu takes 18 years to complete one journey round the Sun. the

earth takes one year. the Moon is always around the Earth and so

moves with the Earth. Rahu/Ketu are the points of intersection of the

orbits of the Earth and the Moon. then Rahu /Ketu should also

complete it in one year.

please clarify the above points.

Dear sujatkaram, Again,you are mixing up signs with houses...Rahu/Kethu may be in any sign but, which house/s is he in...is important...? It is important to first UNLEARN traditional astrology,and then learn K.P. In K.P., a house begins at the cusp of that house and extends till the beginning of the next cusp...if this covers 2 signs and Rahu/Kethu is situated in that distance,they will be deemed lords of both houses...! This has been explained very clearly in the
