Guest guest
Om Krishna Guru Namaste Gurus and Learned Members, Some one asked a question in another list: whether a native is married or not providing the native's birth details. I took that as an exercise to see my understanding on the Gulbarga method which I have learnt recently. I have used the following principle to answer this question "Is the native is married or not". KP Principle: If the Sub lord of the Asc is the Star Lord of Moon then the answer is "Yes", other wise the answer is "No". I have taken a random number from software program to answer this question. I was hoping that the person who has posted this question will provide the answer, but he did not, as he is still waiting for some more people to answer. I did not provide my KP analysis in that list, because that group was not a KP related group and I do not want to mix different methods. Horary Number = 60 September 10, 2006 Time: 15:15:30 Time Zone: 5:00:00 (West of GMT) Place: 93 W 20' 59", 44 N 53' 23" USA In the above chart, the Asc Sub Lord is Ven and the Star Lord of Moon is Ketu. Both are not same, hence the answer is "No", which means the native is not married. So, may I request you to please verify whether the above analysis is correct in arriving at the answer is "No" or not and correct me if I am wrong. Guest guest
Dear Raghunatha Rao garu, My understanding of The Gulbarga Theory is: If the Sub Lord of the Horary Number (60) happens to be either Moon Star-Lord Or Lagna Star -Lord among the RPS, the answer is in the affirmative(YES). Otherwise it is NO. WHAT PRINCIPLE YOU HAVE APPLIED IS FOR BIRTH TIME CORRECTNESS CHECKING. Please recheck. Guest guest
Dear Raghunath Rao, Can you please post the 1) Asc: Sign Lord, Star Lord, Sub Lord, Sub-Sub 2) Horary Number: Sign Lord, Star Lord, Sub Lord, Sub-Sub 3) Moon Sign Lord, Star Lord, Sub Lord, Sub-Sub details obtained at the time of your analysis by you for my study. I hope that you checked both the critera for " YES " in your analysis. Please refer to Raichurji's message# 2363 " The rule is If the Sublord of the ASC (Horary) is the Star Lord of Moon (horary), or the Star Lord of the Regular Ascendent at time of casting, then Answer IS YES. " Also, refer to L.Y.Rao's message# 9435 " if the s/l of the horary number was the same as the st.lord of the Ascendant or the Moon's Starlord...the answer was a definite " YES " . " BTW, which group was this quiz posted. Guest guest
Dear Sri Raghunatha Rao garu, Appropos your query, following is my answer. Take the Horary No 60 in your case, from the tables this gives : SIGN LORD MERCURY STARLORD JUPITER SUBLORD VENUS. FOR TIME OF JUDGEMENT.10-9-2006, 15-15-30,make a horoscope; gives: LAGNA SIGN LORD JUPITER DO STAR LORD KETU DO SUB LORD VENUS. MOON SIGN LORD MARS DO STAR LORD KETU DO SUB LORD RAHU. Theory says RP sublord should show either LAGNA STAR LORD or MOON STAR LORD. Here VENUS and KETU are different, hence we check any relationship between the two planets..VENUS is in star of KETU, hence a relation ship is estabilised. Conclusion answer is YES. Guest guest
Om Krishna Guru Namaste Satish Ji and All, Thanks for your reply and it makes a little bit sense now, but I have few following doubts and need clarifications. Please bear with me as I am struggling to understand, so I will make my understanding with questions point wise, so that when you reply to me in that fashion, it may be easier for me to understand. 1) I am using Raichur Ji's Software only for this and I am not using any Tables or books for this exercise. 2) When I casted the Prashna using Horary Number 60. I get the following from the software:- HOR.NO : 60 : Asc.for RP 241 Deg 30 Min LORDS : Jup,Ket,Ven,Mar CUSP Sgl Stl Sbl Ssl :PLANET Sgl Stl Sbl SsL RULING PLANETS ASC Mer Jup Ven Ven :SUN. Sun Ven Mer Mer ASC STL :Ket 2nd Moo Sat Jup Jup :MOON Mar Ket Rah Sun ASC SGL :Jup 3rd Sun Ket Rah Mer :MARS Mer Sun Ven Ven MOON STL:Ket 4th Mer Sun Sat Rah :MERC Mer Sun Jup Moo MOON SGL:Mar 5th Ven Rah Sat Sun :JUP. Ven Jup Jup Ven DAY LORD :SUN. Questions:- a) You have mentioned that : Take the Horary No 60 in your case, from the tables : and you have taken the following:- gives : SIGN LORD MERCURY STARLORD JUPITER SUBLORD VENUS. But I see from the software as follows : HOR.NO : 60 : Asc.for RP 241 Deg 30 Min LORDS : ======> Jup,Ket,Ven,Mar They are NOT matching with your notes. Then I thought may be I should use the following which is generated by the software instead: CUSP Sgl Stl Sbl Ssl ASC Mer Jup Ven Ven The above are matching with what you have mentioned. So the above is what you are referring as " Take the Horary No 60 in your case, from the tables " . I am seeing them as the Lagna ( based on the Horary Number 60). Are we saying the same thing or different ? please clarify. 3) You have mentioned that " Theory says RP sublord should show either LAGNA STAR LORD or MOON STAR LORD. Here VENUS and KETU are different... " Questions:- a) I do not see the Sublords for the Rruling planets: Lagna and Moon from the Software, so how can I get this from this software ? If you do not know as I know you are not the author of the software, that is fine. But this software is not providing the sub lords of the Ruling Planets, that is what I am seeing when tried to compare your analysis. b) Secondly, You have used Ven as RP Sub lord and attempting to compare with Ketu which is Lagna/Moon's Star Lord. That is clear, but Ven is the Sub Lord of Lagna, so why you are saying it is RP Sublord, it is Lagna's Sub Lord is it not ? Guest guest
Dear Raghunath Rao Garu, The following is my understanding: 1. The first step is to create chart at the TOJ (Time of Judgement) From the Planetary representation at the Time of Judgement (TOJ) i.e., per the local time, we have an ASC i.e., Let us call it ASC(TOJ). In the output from Software in your example, For ASC(TOJ) SGL = Mer, STL = Ketu. For Moon(TOJ): SGL = Mar, STL = Ketu, SBL = Rahu, SSL = Sun For Fortuna(TOJ): SGL = Sat, STL = Rahu, SBL = Jup, SSL = Ven 2. To complete the Horary Chart for a given number, we replace this ASC(TOJ) with ASC for Horary number 60 called ASC(Horary Number). This ASC(Horary Number) can be looked up in KP Table for Numbers 1 thru 249. Here is the path: hanskpvedic The file name is "KP 1=249 Sublord Table.doc". In your example, ASC (Horary Number 60): SGL = Mer, STL = Jup, SBL = Ven, SSL = Ven Test Number 1: Is SBL of ASC(Horary Number) same as ASC(TOJ) STL ? In your example: SBL of ASC(Horary Number) Ven is not ASC(TOJ) STL i.e., Ketu Test Number 2: Is SBL of ASC(Horary Number) same as Moon(TOJ) STL ? In your example: SBL of ASC(Horary Number) Ven is not Moon(TOJ) STL i.e., Ketu Test Number 3: Is SBL of ASC(Horary Number) same as FortunaMoon(TOJ) STL ? In your example: SBL of ASC(Horary Number) Ven is not Moon(TOJ) STL i.e., Rahu Per KP signification of a planet in the horoscope depends on the Nakshatra or star in which it is posited. Based on the current chart, Ven is in Ketu constellation. i.e., For Ven(TOJ): SGL = Sun, STL = Ketu, SBL = Mer, SSL = Ketu Since Ketu is Star lord of Venus, Test Number 1 & Test Number 2 passed. If atleast 1 of the 3 tests pass, The question is answered as "YES". Having said that, I request one and all learned members to provide your valuable feedback, Thanks, KrishnaRaghunatha RaoNemani <raon1008 wrote: Om Krishna GuruNamaste Satish Ji and All,Thanks for your reply and it makes a little bit sense now, but I have few following doubts and need clarifications. Please bear with me as I am struggling to understand, so I will make my understanding with questions point wise, so that when you reply to me in that fashion, it may be easier for me to understand.1) I am using Raichur Ji's Software only for this and I am not using any Tables or books for this exercise.2) When I casted the Prashna using Horary Number 60. I get the following from the software:-HOR.NO : 60 : Asc.for RP 241 Deg 30 Min LORDS : Jup,Ket,Ven,MarCUSP Sgl Stl Sbl Ssl :PLANET Sgl Stl Sbl SsL RULING PLANETSASC Mer Jup Ven Ven :SUN. So the above is what you are referring as "Take the Horary No 60 in your case, from the tables". I am seeing them as the Lagna ( based on the Horary Number 60). Are we saying the same thing or different ? please clarify.3) You have mentioned that "Theory says RP sublord should show either LAGNA STAR LORD or MOON STAR LORD.Here VENUS and KETU are different..."Questions:-a) I do not see the Sublords for the Rruling planets: Lagna and Moon from the Software, so how can I get this from this software ? If you do not know as I know you are not the author of the software, that is fine. But this software is not providing the sub lords of the Ruling Planets, that is what I am seeing when tried to compare your analysis.b) Secondly, You have used Ven as RP Sub lord and attempting to compare with Ketu which is Lagna/Moon's Star Lord. That is clear, but Ven is the Sub Lord of Lagna, so why you are saying it is RP Sublord, it is Lagna's Sub Lord is it not ?I am sorry for asking some stupid and basic questions, as I am not fully following hence these question. Guest guest
Dear Raghunatha ji, You are confuse in RP Asc and Horary Asc. First read in book how we take number horary.we take number horary fron stating Deg. Mnt. Now what is RP Asc. RP Asc means when you cast Horary chart at the same time and place what is Asc. is RP asc. so bothe are deffer. Now RP Moon: MOON's position are same in both case RP and Hoary chart so you can take Horary Moon same as RP Moon. Guest guest
Dear Satish Can you please clarify this one for me?For Horary Number 246 (Mars is Sublord). Judgment Time / Location Friday, September 22, 2006 23:10:20 pm in Melbourne, Australia.37S50 145E00 Zone 10 hrs ahead of GMT DST 0 Ruling Planet At Judgment(Using Kp Ayanamsa)Lagna Sign Is Virgo.Lagna Star Lord is Sun.Moon Star Lord is Sun.Since there is no connection by nakshatra. But if Mars is conjunct Sun in Virgo. Do we take answer as a yes or a no? RegardsAshy - R Satish Friday, September 22, 2006 3:37 PM Re: Gulbarga Method - My Exercise - 1 Dear Sri Raghunatha Rao garu,Appropos your query, following is my answer.Take the Horary No 60 in your case, from the tables this gives : SIGN LORD MERCURYSTARLORD JUPITERSUBLORD VENUS.FOR TIME OF JUDGEMENT.10-9-2006, 15-15-30,make a horoscope; gives: LAGNA SIGN LORD JUPITERDO STAR LORD KETUDO SUB LORD VENUS.MOON SIGN LORD MARSDO STAR LORD KETUDO SUB LORD RAHU.Theory says RP sublord should show either LAGNA STAR LORDor MOON STAR LORD.Here VENUS and KETU are different, hence we check any relationship between the two planets..VENUS is in star of KETU, hence a relation ship is estabilised. Guest guest
Daer Ashy, Welcome aboard. I am not great shakes at astrology, in particular KP. There are bigger stalwarts Like Sri Raichur, whom I hold in reverence. To answer your query, if the planets are in conjunction, I would say the answer is YES. As I believe, this theory is to be applied to minor events. We still have to rely on standard methods for important matters. Intention is most important, procedures follow. Please verify your question thru standard Horary procedure and gain confidence. Best wishes. Guest guest
Daer Sri raghunatha Rao garu, I trust you are satisfied with Sri Kanak's explanation, I am not replying the same. Gulbarga Theory, in my opinion, is for snapshot predictions for Yes /No type of situations, minor in Nature.Deatailed chart preparations require time and energy. Guest guest
Dear astrobhai,(astrological brothers) I like to share some words about Gulbarga thoery.in prasanna hora tantra the olden scripts given lot of idea about how people will choose the number or flower or color to fix prasanna lagna. like that in KP we are choosing between 1 to 249 that only becoz if current RP . if a native selecting a number then that sing /star /sub of the number has been already there in RP. otherwise native can't choose that number. that's the one resason the native selecting that perticular number. mind flashes the number becoz influance of RP planets. basic truth is RP only choosing the number not the human. so when ever we chooise the numbmer then Horary Asc sub will be thare in RP. then we can tell always YES? and one person asking "when i wil cure from illness" , for this Q if directly we are telling from ASC sublord then what is the use of 6th cusp ect? KSK cleared about lot of blined belive in astrology. but few people making KP system into that path. this is not a good thing for astro! I have also learnt the principles and for any important and a major events, I would still rely upon the other prescribed methods and not this short cut method. Guest guest
Dear Raghunath RaoIn Horary the ascendent for each Number 1 to 249 are fixed, irrespective of time or place. This can be taken from Tables or SW.Manually if you know the Ascendent, you have to work the Siderial time when the Asc at the place will be at that degree. From this you work the other house cusps. Using the SW you need not do anything, this is done by the prog.To test this Take the same Horary No, but at different PLACES and Times, and check the Houses 1 to 6. ! will always be sameThe Ruling planets are the Day Lord. Moon SIGN LORD,STAR LORD and the the ASC SIGN and Star Lords. This ASC, the normal asc will vary with time and place. The Moon is not affected by the Place (only dependent of DATE and Time). Day usually remains unaffected. Do in the SW the natural ascdent is given, along with the Lords.IF you cast a regulat chart at same place, same time, you will get this. Guest guest
Dear Members The Gulburga method is simple. If the sublord of the No. is same as Star Lord of Moon ORStar Lord of Normal Local ASC then answer is YES otherwise NOthe KP astro's who made the rules never went into other factors like conjunction etc.good luckR Satish <rsatish1942 wrote: Daer Ashy, Welcome aboard. I am not great shakes at astrology, in particular KP. There are bigger stalwarts Like Sri Raichur, whom I hold in reverence. We still have to rely on standard methods for important matters. Intention is most important, procedures follow. Please verify your question thru standard Horary procedure and gain confidence. As you know, I am a beginner and trying to understand, so please clarify my doubts when you get some free time.RegardsRaghunatha Rao , "R Satish" <rsatish1942 wrote:>> > Dear Sri Raghunatha Rao garu,> > > > Appropos your query, following is my answer.> > > Take the Horary No 60 in your case, from the tables this > > gives : SIGN LORD MERCURY> STARLORD JUPITER> SUBLORD VENUS.> > > FOR TIME OF JUDGEMENT.10-9-2006, 15-15-30,make a horoscope; > > gives: LAGNA SIGN LORD JUPITER> DO STAR LORD KETU> DO SUB LORD VENUS.> > MOON SIGN LORD MARS> DO STAR LORD KETU> DO SUB LORD RAHU.> > > Theory says RP sublord should show either LAGNA STAR LORD> > or MOON STAR LORD.> > > Here VENUS and KETU are different, hence we check any > relationship between the two planets..VENUS is in star of KETU, hence > a relation ship is estabilised. > > Conclusion answer is YES.> > > > Regards,> > > Satish>> -- In , "Raghunatha RaoNemani" > <raon1008@> wrote:> >> > Om Krishna Guru> > > > Namaste Satish Ji and Krishna Ji,> > > > Thanks for your reply and feedback.
