Thanks Yogeshji for your guidance. I have done some analysis as per KP. I am learning KP using books.Tell me my thinking / logic is in right direction about Gem.Jupiter - Is most benificial planet. As it is lord of 9th, 1 and 4. But Strong Significator is 1 and 9. Also Jupiter star lord is Ketu and Sub is Jupiter. Ketu is located in 10th house. It means that Jupiter is strong significator of 1, 9 and 10. Also it is cusp sub lord of 11th bhav. So wearing Yellow Sapphire will be benificial.On similar line I could not do analysis for Mercury. Dear sampa,I am writing the following as a KP student trying to analyse your horoscope. What ever I have written below is subject to correction by KP masters.I cast your horoscope as per your birth time, date and place mentioned. I also checked your time of birth- it is astrologically correct. You are passing through saturn Mahadasa with Moon Bhukti and Venus Anthra. This will lst till the 15th of November and after that the Moon - Sun period will end in December 2006. Then starts the Mars Bhukti, followed by Rahu and finally the Jupiter thus ending the saturn mahadasa in 2013.

Coming to gem stones, I have checked your 2nd, 6th, 10th and 11th sublords. They are Mars, Jupiter,Saturn and Jupiter respectively.You are presently passing through saturn Mahadasha and the sub lord of the 10th is saturn. Saturn is occupying the 7th and the owner of 9 and 10. Saturn is in the star of ketu occupying 11 but in the sub of Venus in 8. Though venus is close to 9 by Residual strength, the effect it will offer as a Sub is only 8 according to me. Hence saturn is not a benefic for this horoscope. Jupiter is occupying 5th house and is in the star and sub of rahu, again giving 5. This again is not a benefic for you. If you you wear a yellow topaz, it may give you good health but not good money through service.You

are also not passing through Jupiter Mahadasha to get the benefit of earnng money through speculation now.Mars is the sub lord of 2nd house seated in the 8th house and owner of 7 and 12. Mars is in the star of Venus occupying the 8th bhava. It is in the sub of mercury occupying 10th house. Thus Mars by sub ruler is benefic for you. Saturn in the 7th is 10th from the 10th bhava. Saturn is casting its 3rd drishti on the 10th and so is Jupiter its 5th drishti. If Venus by its Residual strength can be considered to give 9th house effect, then it can give a benefic strenth. I am open to corection by KP masters. Hence I am in conclusive on the gem stone for you.Incidentally, if you are planning to leave this country for better prospects, please reply so.
