Birth Time Rectification:Swami Ji Method - An Exercise

Om Krishna Guru Namaste Swami Ji and Learned Members, I have attempted to re-write Swami Ji's Birth Time Rectification method in a step by step manner, so that it is easier / simpler for me and my fellow students to understand and follow. To understand this method, I have considered one example chart and writing my analysis here for youre review. The purpose of this exercise is to see, whether I have understood and used Swami Ji's method correctly. If you think I have not used the method correctly, then point my mistake and provide the corrections, so that I and my other fellow studetns can follow. I have done this analysis few days ago, but did not get a chance to write formally hence the delay. So request to Swami Ji and others to review the following and give your comments with corrections, if any. Thanks for your help in advance. Regards Raghunatha Rao ==== Birth Time Rectification method from Swami Ji ============== The following method was taken from Swami Ji's message:- ( /message/9873 ) So let me walk you thru the steps one by one with an example chart. 1) Using KP Ayanamsa cast the Natal Chart (with unrectified Time) 2) Find out the Ruling Planets at the time of rectification

exercise. 3) Note the planets in the following Table:- ========================== Planet / Sign Star Sub Lagna Lord Lord Lord ========================== Ascendant ---- R.P's Moon ========================== 4) In order to consider the Birth time to be accurate: The Asc's Sign Lord, Star Lord and Sub Lord have to be same as Ruling Planet-Moon's Sign Lord, Star Lord and Sub Lord. If they are not same, then they should at least have some connection. Otherwise we have to make the adjustment to rectify the birth time. Note:- ===== Here the connection is referred as : Ruling Planet-Moon's Sign Lord is same as Asc's Sign or Star or Sub Lord. ===== Live Example Chart of Rectification ============== Now let me take an example to work thru your method:- 1) The natal Chart details are:- September 3, 1954 Time: 13:00 Time Zone: 5:30:00 (East of GMT) Place: 81 E 22' 00", 16 N 30' 00" Rising Degree 26 Sc 32. Mar sign, Mer Star, Jup sub. 2) The judgement chart details:-

So there is no correction required at this level. 5) The second check. We have to check whether the R.P Moon's Star Lord Ven is same as Asc's Star Lord. It is not the same as Asc'w Star Lord is Mer. So now we have to see for any connection between Ven and Mer in the Ruling Planet Chart. In R.P Chart:- ========= a) Ven is in Leo with a Sign lord of Sun, in the star of Ketu and in the Sub of Mer. b) Mer is in Virgo with a Sign Lord of Mer, in the star of Sun and in the sub of Sat. So there is a connection between Star Lord and Sub Lord between R.P's Moon and Asc. Hence there is no rectification required at this second level of Star Lord. 6) The third and last check. We have to check whether the R.P Moon's Sub Lord Sat is same as Asc's Sub Lord. It is not the same as Asc's Star Lord is Jup. So now we have to see for any connection between Ven and Mar in the Ruling Planet Chart. In R.P Chart:- ========= a) Sat is in Cancer with a Sign Lord of Moon, in the star of Mer

and in the Sub of Rah. b) Jup is in Libra with a Sign Lord of Ven, in the star of Jup and in the Sub of Jup. So there is no connection between Star Lord and Sub Lord between R.P's Moon and Asc. Hence the birth time rectification needed at this third level of Sub Lord. Final Rectification:- 1) Now we need to match the third criteria, which is the Sub Lord level. So the current Asc's Sub lord is Jup, which is neither same nor have any connection. So let us change to next Sub Lord which is : Sat, does it have any connection ? No. So change to next Sub Lord, which is : Merc. Is there any connection ? Yes. The final Rectification is : Mars Sign, Ven's Star and Merc's Sub. with the birth time of : 12:20:46 PM. The reported time was 1:00 PM. Hmmm

too much of difference ? May be correct, I do not know and looking forward for your review.

1.21 multiply by 4 min then 5 min 24sec add this answer to birth time. birth time is 13.00hrs. so corrected time is 13.05.24 now time is correct. ‘you put mar-ven-mer becoz u confused with ASC and RP moon. u changed RP moon itself. we want to change only birth ASC. Dear Swami I have seen your method,thanks. As I ststed before, I used the same theorey of connection, between ASC and RP MOON, but I was applying it to the NATAL MOON.
