Guest guest
Dear All, Further to my Msg#3246 and referring Msg#1850/3316/3231/3251 of Shri Raichur and Msg#3261, the findings on Rahu/Ketu rules by going through KP Readers are given below for your information and comment. Thanks and regards, tw APLICATION OF RAHU/KETU RULES IN KP READERS I. BACKGROUND 1. KP Reader II (1983) p 315 Rahu or Ketu will act as a strong agent to the planets to which they are conjoined. If they are not conjoined with any planet, then they give the results of the planet which aspects them. Only when they are neither conjoined with, nor aspected by any planet, they represent the lord of the house. (Uthrakalamrita -- Khanda VI Sloka 14 onwards) 2. The result of the STARLORD is added by Guruji KSK " after " the aspecting planet(s) in KP Reader III and V but " before " the aspecting planet(s) in KP Reader VI. 2.1. KP Reader III, Old Edition (OE), Part 1, p 123 (New Edition/NE/ p 130)/ KP Reader V (1983) p 123 1) Rahu/Kethu indicates the results of planet which they are conjoined. 2) If no planet in conjunction, the results of planets aspecting them. 3) If neither conjoined nor aspected, the results of the Stlord (Stl). 4) Lastly the result of the sign. 2.2. KP Reader VI (1978/2002) p 187/212-4/274/276 Nodes 1) Firstly give the result of the planet or planets with which they are conjoined, 2) Secondly the lord of the star in which they are deposited, 3) Then of the planet or planets aspecting them and 4) Lastly of the lord of the sign in which they are deposited. 3. KP Reader III, Old Edition, Part 1, p 124 (New Edition p 130)/ KP Reader V (1983) p 124 Regarding the importance of the house occupied by Rahu/ Ketu, 1) Rahu or Kethu gives results to greater extent than what Stl can offer. 2) Imagine as though Stl is posited in that house in which Rahu or Ketu tenanted. 3) Also imagine that Stl is posited in that bhava. And it gives results to greater extent. 4. In summary Rahu/ Ketu give the result of 1) The house occupied by Rahu/Ketu 2) The planet(s) conjoined with them 3) Their Starlord 4) The planet(s) aspecting them 5) The lord of the sign occupied by them 5. Chandra B. Bhatt: Nakshatra Chintamani, p 19 5.1. Rahu/Ketu as PLANET give: 1) Firstly, the results of the planet in conj. with it, 2) Secondly, the results of the planet aspecting it, 3) Thirdly, the results of its own star lord, and 4) Fourthly, the results of the owner of the sign occupied by it. Note: the same as 2.1. 5.2. Rahu/Ketu as STARLORD If any planet is in the star of Rahu or Ketu, 1) that planet will signify the matters of the house occupied by Rahu or Ketu; 2) that planet will indicate the matters of the house owned and occupied by the Star lord of Rahu or Ketu; and 3) that planet will denote the matters of the house occupied and owned by the owner of the sign occupied by Rahu or Ketu. Note: the results of planet(s) in conj and aspect are excluded because of the reference below or rare application in KP Readers. (Pl see 8.2 and 8.4) ??? KP Reader III, Old Edition, Part I, p. 110 (New Edition p 116)/ KP Reader V (1983) p 110 Rahu and Ketu will occupy a house. They govern the stars Arudhra, Swathi, Sathabisha, Aswini, Maka and Moola. So planets situared in these stars will offer the results as indicated by either Rahu or Kethu according to the house occupied by them. Further one should include the results of the lord of the constellation and then the lodrd of the sign in which Rahu and Kethu is posited. It is explained in the end of the chapter(i.e. 2.1 and 3). II. FINDINGS 6. By going through the examples in KP Readers, the results of Rahu/Ketu as: 1) PLANET, 2) STARLORD and 3) SUBLORD are found as below: 7. RAHU/KETU AS PLANET 1) The House Occupied by Them KP Reader III Old Edition (OE), Part 1 p142/Part 2 p 61/155 (New Edition/NE/ p 149/219/320) KP Reader IV (1984/2002) p 133/197/239 KP Reader V (1983) p 141/149/201 KP Reader VI (1978/2002) p 190/217/298 2) The Planet(s) Conjoined with Them Reader III OE Part 2 p 85/140 (NE 244-5/304) Reader IV p 111/133 Reader V p 200 Reader VI p 187/302 3) Their Starlod Reader III OE Part 1 p 142/Part 2 p 12-13/ 61 (NE 149/165-6/219) Reader IV p 133/207-8 Reader V p 149 Reader VI p 190/298/302 4) The Planet(s) Aspecting Them Reader III OE Part 2 p 85/176 (NE 244-5/344) Reader IV p 111 Reader VI p 187 5) The Lord of Sign Occupied by Them Reader III OE Part 1 p 142/Part 2 p 176 (NE 149/344) Reader IV p 111/175/208/239 Reader V p 149/200-1 Reader VI p 298/302 8. CONCLUSION 10. Whether Rahu/Ketu are PLANET or STARLORD or SUBLORD, results of the followings are taken depending on relevance to the matter under consideration: 1) the house occupied, 2) planet(s) conjoined, 3) starlord, 4) planet(s) aspecting and 5) signlord. 11. Even though quoted by Guruji KSK in 1 and requoted by his son K. Subramanium " Only when they are neither conjoined with, nor aspected by any planet, they represent the lord of the house. " in Uttara Kalamrita, the results of SIGNLORD are ALSO taken in the cases of Rahu/Ketu in conjunction or aspect with planets, for instance: 1) Conj/Stl/Sgl taken in a) Reader III OE Part 1 p 142-3 (NE p 149- 50) and b) Reader VI p 302/316. 2) Aspt/Sgl taken in a) Reader III OE Part 2 p 202 and b) Reader VI p 190. 3) Conj/Aspt/ Sgl taken in Reader VI p 312. Note: Conj/Aspt/Sgl of Rahu/Ketu taken by Dr. K.R. Kar in KP & Astrology, Year Book 2004, p 58. 3) Planet in conjunction not taken and Sgl taken in in Reader III OE Part 2 p 85 (NE p 244-45) 12. Rahu/Ketu as agent of planet(s) in conjunction or aspect or signlord are supposed to signify whatever the planet(s) concerned signify, but only houses occupied and owned by the planet(s) are commonly considered, and further results of planet(s)'s STARLORD are taken in some cases only, for instance: 1) Stl's Stl in Reader III OE Part 2 p 12-13 (NE p 165-66) 2) Sgl's Stl in Reader III OE Part 2 p 85 (NE p 244-45) Note: As usual the houses occupied and owned by STL and the house occupied by Rahu/Ketu are shown by KP SWs, and in addition planets acted by Rahu/Ketu as agent are shown by KPAstro 2.5. Guest guest
For users of 4 step method, this is no problem. We take Rahu/Ketu as agents of the Sign Lord of place occupied. So we get houses signified by the lord.If Rahu is conjunct withany planet, within 3.33 deg, this is also considered, then the Star of Rahu, the subof Rahu, and starlord of the sublord is also considered. Only strong significators are considered. Aspect are not considered unless within 3.33 degreesKanak Bosmia <kanakbosmia wrote: Dear Tin win ji, The Best Artical on RAHU/KETU. Note: Conj/Aspt/Sgl of Rahu/Ketu taken by Dr. K.R. Kar in KP & Astrology, Year Book 2004, p 58.3) Planet in conjunction not taken and Sgl taken in in Reader III OE Part 2 p 85 (NE p 244-45) 12. Rahu/Ketu as agent of planet(s) in conjunction or aspect or signlord are supposed to signify whatever the planet(s) concerned signify, but only houses occupied and owned by the planet(s) are commonly considered, and further results of planet(s)'s STARLORD are taken in some cases only, for instance:1) Stl's Stl in Reader III OE Part 2 p 12-13 (NE p 165-66) 2) Sgl's Stl in Reader III OE Part 2 p 85 (NE p 244-45) Note: As usual the houses occupied and owned by STL and the house occupied by Rahu/Ketu are shown by KP SWs, and in addition planets acted by Rahu/Ketu as agent are shown by KPAstro 2.5.>> I Love Walking In Rain Because Nobody Can See Me Crying << Everyone is raving about the all-new Mail Beta. Guest guest
Dear Kanak, Thank you for kind words. After making some corrections, I'll send it to K.Subramanium at least to let him know that his father's writings have been thoroughly studied. While going again through KP Readers, in Reader III OE Part 2 page 45 (NE page 201) and Reader VI page 315-6 it is clearly mentioned to take all planet(s) in conj, aspt and signlord and then it has been realized that what is written in 2.2 also means to take all three as per given priority. It has bee also noticed about your priority taking of the house occupied by Rahu/Ketu. Regards, tw , Kanak Bosmia <kanakbosmia wrote: > > Dear Tin win ji, > > The Best Artical on RAHU/KETU. > I request you to send it to K.Subramaniyam for KP & astrology. > > I personaly use 2.1 or Chandrakant Bhatt 5.1 and found good result. > > regads > > kanak > > tw853 <tw853 wrote: > Dear All, > > Further to my Msg#3246 and referring Msg#1850/3316/3231/3251 of Shri > Raichur and Msg#3261, the findings on Rahu/Ketu rules by going > through KP Readers are given below for your information and comment. > > Thanks and regards, > > tw > > APLICATION OF RAHU/KETU RULES IN KP READERS > > I.
