Guest guest
Dear Kanak, I am sharing my approach to it and I will suggest you to apply it and see, does it work. The approach has helped me to funnel down to some limited options one can have. I consider, occupants+cusp Lord+star lord+sub lord & occupants of the stars of all these lords. The cusp for profession are X+II+VI cusps. I take the ruling planets at the time of judgement ( for both natal chart or horary chart, as the case may be) and land with some significators at the end by elimination process with the help of RPs. For shortlisted planets, I also consider the sign they are occupying. I make a matrix of all these and put the professions which are common for all planets and signs. With the help of the running dasa and antra the final shortlist of profession can be drawn. I give attention to the houses strongly represented by these planets like 3h shows communication, travelling or writting profession, 7H shows business like work, 5H shows brokering of shares or speculative activities and so on. Kanak, I am still applying this on the cases I deal with and I am not claiming anything but I have made my own notes from 11 books which include comphensive info about signs, planets and houses on various aspects and profession is one of them. This I was having to share with you on this topic. My fellow members may differ from me on my approach. Guest guest
Dears Seshadri,Kanak and Anurodh Kumar, I have found around 85% - 90%success,for assessing the type of Business to be undertaken,by examining the II,VII,X,XI cusps in detail,(signlords,star-lords and sublords, and also the presently running Dasa,Bhukti & Anthara...while the book 'Profession' has proved to be very useful...but, I must admit however,in the 10 to 15 % cases, where I went wrong,I have gone way,way off the mark...! ( Just like Kanak's experience.) But,I used to consider this as a normal and allowable,variation...(as I believed and still believe, that a 100% accuracy was not attainable for a frail and inexperienced human like me) but I guess it will be worth my(our) while to improve upon this success-rate... I am looking forward to Mr.Anurodh Kumar's examples-input when it becomes available,to throw more light on this subject... Also, comments from stalwarts are solicited, which I'm sure, will help us all to develop more accuracy... With kind regards, L.Y.Rao. GOOD LUCK ! Sesh Krish <kseshadri_2000 wrote: Excellent Anurodh.
