Guest guest
A REVIEW ON RELOCATION ASTROLOGY 1. Relocated Chart in place of Natal Birth Chart Shri K.P. Kuppu Ganapathi contributes " A Research Study on Relocation Astrlogy and KP " in KP Year Book 2006, page 14-19, quoting-- " One should not always calculate the ascendant for the place of birth unless the native is permanent in his birth place. " KP Reader V (Could someone provide the reference page because I can not find it.) Two foreign Relocated Charts give more accurate indications of the future which is lacking in the charts prepared for birth places. Since Seshadri's consultant young boy with kidney transplant has been faced all round Bhadaka, Maraka as mentioned in Kanak's prediction (Msg# 7766), his Relocated Chart to LA, USA has been tried in Msg#7782 which indicates less Bhadaka influence. His Relocated TP does not indicate any harm in Kanak's analysis (Msg#7900) and it is to wait and see what will happen to him. (Natal and TP are given in Msg#7883) (Tithi Pravesh/TP/ Chart in Msg#7882) Sonia Gandhi's Relocated Chart gives perfect indication of her political events as shown in Msg#7857. Relocated TP Chart is also preferable. (Msg#7904) However, Relocation Charts (within same country) of Tony Blair and Indira Gandhi do not give any significant indication of changes. (Msg#7869) As Kanak prefer Relocated Solar Return Chart as his Tajik Guru (Msg#7904), a review has been made as follows. 2. Location for Solar Return (SR)/ TP 2.1. BIRTH PLACE Raman (Varshaphal, page 11) Charak (Predictive Techniques in Varshaphala, page 15) Sumeet Chugh (Varshaphal, page 5) Dr. P.S. Madan (Election 2000, Who will be the Next President of USA?) Nance McCullough *(Solar Returns Formulas & Analyses, page 1-8) Kim Falconer (Astrology & Aptitude) * Relocation on a more or less permanent basis would be more valid. http://www.cyberastro.com/products/birthday.report.asp Our Solar Return Charts are calculated on the basis of the place where you are born as per Vedic Astrology, although Western Astrology calculates the Solar Return Chart on the basis of the place where you are on your birthday. 2.2. Bradley (Solar & Lunar Returns) Celeste Teal (Predicting Events with Astrology; Identifying Planetary Triggers: Astrological Techniques for Prediction) Erin Sullivan Predicting Events with Astrology by Celeste Teal Llewellyn Journal - Interpreting the Solar Return http://www.llewellynjournal.com/article/391 Using the location of your residence at the time of the birthday is recommended. In fact, if one moves during the year, the Solar Return should be relocated as well. There are subtle shifts of energy as the planets may change astrological house position. Some people actually travel for their birthdays in order to produce the most beneficial rays possible for the year. This is a fine way to start the year but not really a way to avoid issues as the configurations for the residence are waiting when one returns home. 2.2.2. LOCATION ON THE DAY OF SR Raymond A. Merriman (The New Solar Return Book of Prediction) Mary Fortier Shea (Planets in Solar Returns: Yearly Cycles of Transformation & Growth) A suggestion as given by Raymond A. Merriman to travel to a more appropriate location where the SR will support the attainment of a native's intentions is, in Charak's opinion, an exercise in ignorance. Merriman's wife Debby's goal to purchase a new home was attained by traveling to a favorable location from place of residence around the time of 1977 SR but her brother had a car accident not shown in her birth place or residence charts due to moving Mars from 4th to 3rd house in her SR. (The New Solar Return Book of Prediction, page 149) If a horoscope only shows a tendency and if one can change the event by one's will, than astrology has no place. (KP Reader V, 1983, page 170) Both have to happen according to one's karma which can be read by an astrologer. (KP Reader IV, 1984, page 174) Noel Tyl said in 1977 that he could not avoid some health problems indicated in his stateside SR chart by traveling to Europe location for his SR that year. Solar Returns, Astrology, Mary Fortier Shea http://www.maryshea.com/sr.html You can use your natal location, the location for your current home, or your current location if you are away from home. The difference is as follows: the natal location is like a progression. You are born with this series of Solar Returns and there is no modification for free-willed choices, but the charts do work. The Solar Return for your present residence reflects the changes you have made over the years. If you have moved away, the location and the orientation of the Solar Return has changed reflecting the internal shift. The location for your exact position at the time of the Sun's return is in my opinion the most accurate because it most closely reflects your present state of mind and any free-willed choices you have made. It is not necessary that you remain in this location for the year or even for very long. You only need relocate long enough to set your intention or about a day. 3. Tropical or Sidereal SR/TP It has also been said that solar return charts are more accurate if the time of the return is corrected for the earth's precession. The effects of precession become more noticeable with increasing age. The difference between a solar return calculated with and without precession will be 6 hours at age 18, 12 hours at age 36 and an entire day at age 72. James A. Eshelman (Interpreting Solar Returns) Kenneth Bowser 4. Mudda or 1-yr Vimshottari Dasa For prediction of event within a year, as Kanak mentions in Msg#7904, Mudda or 1-yr Vimshottari Dasa can be calculated for SR or TP by Jagannatha Hora 7.03. A little bit juggling needs for TP. However this dasa may be useful for ONLY pinpointing of exact timing (similar to monthly charts applied by P.V.R. Narasimha Rao in Analysis: Vajpayee) for the event indicated by cross-analysis of natal and SR/TP charts. 5. Guest guest
Dear Sir, Thanks a lot for your detailed analysis on relocated charts. I do agree with Kanak bhai that we should do some more research on this and try to perfect it more. I live in Australia, and as a hobby see a number of charts of the people who have migratred to this country. I have made it a practice now to erect the horoscope for relocated place (that is their new place of residence), and to my surprise, I find that predictions and characters based on relocated chart are often more correct that native chart. I will continue to do some more research in this area and keep posted to our learned members for their comments. Guest guest
Dear Mr.Sharma, I am truly intrigued by your observations...as,our Guruji,KSK,always maintained that not even Brahma can change one's Karmic fate, and K.P. is based on the Karmic Theory... Apart from minor changes which for all practical purposes do not matter much...Iin my humble opinion... This blowing up of really small/minor changes need not be blown up into a full-fledged 'new theory/finding,in such a great hurry...in my humble and cautious opinion... I am aware that : every new idea has necessarily to go through three stages : first " throw it out-it is nonsense " , second, let us try it out...and see...and thae last and final stage is its acceptance... ! I guess that we are in the first(necessary) state now, regarding this " relocation " theory... I urge you to take my input in the " right spirit " ,and harbour no fears of any ill-intentions on my part...I am being a bit cautious...and also a little finicky towards new " research " ...and will await more case-studies to affirm this theory,conclusively... With best wishes and regards, Yours sincerely, L.Y.Rao. GOOD LUCK ! Yatendra Sharma <sharmay1953 wrote: Dear Sir, Thanks a lot for your detailed analysis on relocated charts. 5. IT IS OPEN TO EXTENSIVE PRACTICAL/IMPIRICAL RESEARCH. , Yatendra Sharma <sharmay1953 wrote: > > Dear lerrned members, > > I open for discussion an important matter which may effect persons who have left their place of birth. The relocated chart for the same birth time but for her new place of residence in Southern Hemisphere moved Saturn to 4th house. Guest guest
Thanks Rao ji. In principle, I fully agree with you and some times really wonder and have suspicion on this, but then few data come and these look to explain this theory as it has happened in the case of Sonia Gandhi etc by our few learned members. So my humble request to my fellow colleagues will be to accept your second idea. LETS US TRY IT OUT AND SEE. All the best and with regards, Yatendra Sharma Yogesh Rao Lajmi <lyrastro1 wrote: Dear Mr.Sharma, I am truly intrigued by your observations...as,our Guruji,KSK,always maintained that not even Brahma can change one's Karmic fate, and K.P. is based on the Karmic Theory... This blowing up of really small/minor changes need not be blown up into a full-fledged 'new theory/finding,in such a great hurry...in my humble and cautious opinion... In the mean time thanks and wish you all the best, Yatendra Sharma tw853 <tw853 wrote: A REVIEW ON RELOCATION ASTROLOGY 1. Relocated Chart in place of Natal Birth Chart Shri K.P.
