My name is Dr. Yatendra Sharma, a professdional chemical technologist by profession, and trying to understand and practise KP astrology for the last 32 years as a hobby only. However, I have found this paddhiti as one of the great in astrological systems, and even with not so much professional expertise like yourselves learned members, I have been able to predict events with quite great accuracy. It is my great pleasure to join team of experts, and trying to learn more about KP system. I have been doing a lot of work on designation of profession by KP system. However, will request learned members to throw more light on this. For an example, I take a horoscope which is as following. Meridian (10th House): Occupant: nil, House Aries (Lord Mars, starlord Ketu, sublord Ketu). Ketu is conjoined with Sun (Sun in Aquarius 24 degree 44 minutes and Ketu in Aquarius 24 degree 11 minutes) and with Sun situated in 8th house in Aquarius. Sun and Ketu both are in Purvabhadra star whose lord is Jupiter, situated in 1st house in Cancer and conjoined with Moon. Jupiter is exalted as it is 5 degree 58 minutes in Cancer. 2nd house lordship is Leo (Sun), occupants are Saturn and Rahu. Saturn in Leo in 2nd house and Sun in 8th house in aquarius are in Parivartan yoga and aspect each other. My comment will be that, Ketu (star and sub lord of 10th house) being conjoined with Sun and in the constellation of Jupiter will produce the effect of Sun and Jupiter both. Now since 10th house lord is Mars, so profession will be decided by Mars, Sun and Jupiter, which indicates a government service (Sun), law (Jupiter), police or military department (Mars). Since 2nd Lord is Sun occupied by Saturn and Rahu, 6th lord is Jupiter occupant nil and 11th Lord is Venus ioccupant nil n this horoscope, the person should get job in the combined period of Saturn, Rahu, Jupiter, Mars (10th lord), Sun and Venus. Saturn and Rahu are in the constellation of Venus so will represent Venus. Mercury is in the constellation of Saturn and so represent Saturn. Sun is in the constellation of Jupiter so should represent Sun. The job should be in Mercury-Rahu-Sun dashas. He is running this period now. Any way, I have prepared chart of this person. I did not have longitudes and lattitudes of Jetpur exactly but have taken 73E50, 22N21. Hope this is close enough. I am impressed with this chart. This is one of the real good ones I have seen. The sublord of the 1st cusp is Jupiter which is situated in 10th housae in retorogation, and starlord of the 1st cusp is Venus which is situated in 5th house, a triane house. The person has certainly did good karmas in the last birth. Jupiter is also the lord of 9th house with another benefic Venus as starlortd and subloird of 9th house. Jupiter is also the lord of 12th house. Fortuna situated inb 12th house in the constellation of Mercury. And please remember that Mercury is linked with Jupiter as it is in the constellation lord of Jupiter. Saturn is the lord of 12th house, situated in 2nd. I have check many chart to check profession but i am not setisfied with what mention in Profession " by K.Subramaniam,. I ticked Mercury for trading, but ofcourse Mercury stands for textile as well. I have been a textile man most of my life and you can see my chart. I later switched over to journalism and financial journalism. It is my view too that with one's efforts contained at an economic utility return level, it is not possible to pin point the profession other than giving the various possibilities. In this particular case I shall be thankful if you give a feed back if Jupiter had any role to play. JUPITER,MERCURY,SUN ACCOUNTANT IN HOSPITAL JUPITER,MERCURY ACCOUNTANT IN BANK:ADVERTISING JUPITER,SAT,MERC,MARS BANK SECURITY DEPT MERCURY,JUPITER,SATURN ACCOUNTS IN MINES SATURN,MERCURY HARDBOARD SATURN,SUN,JUPITER REHABILITATION JUP also not indicate Textile(Specialy he is doing only in PRINTING MACHINE). as i mention in my mail i dont undestand roll of JUP in this chart. Guest guest Posted May 14, 2006 Report Share Posted May 14, 2006 In my opinion, Natal Astrology should be least used in India because birth times are often very inaccurate as we do not know what time was recorded...whether when the whole baby is born or when the head is seen or when the cord is cut etc. and these procedures take time so the change of subs of natal chart is very likely. In KSK's books he has advised to use the time when head is visible. So I avoid predicting by birth charts unless some rectification is applied. On mercury,....If the chart is indicating self-employment then he IS most probably a middleman/intermediate trader. On the other hand if the chart indicates service then he is a journalist/orator/programmer/ITES employee etc. Mercury just indicates the " possibility " of being a middleman.
