Dear Sir,

I made my chart by KP Ayanamsha and By Shri Anant Raichur's

Software in Files section the Ayanamasha Value for My BirthTime is

AYANAMSA: 23 d. 31 m. 48 s.

SIDERIAL TIME 19 : 53 : 37

for

PLACE: GANGAPUR;INDIA

LAT. 26 , 29 NLONG 76 , 49 E

DATE : 20 - 1 - 1983 : TIME: 12 H. 20 M.

DASA BAL. : Sat 5 Y. 1 M. 9 Days: ENDS on 1 - 3 - 1988

 

when I calculated using the same Ayanamsha,the value of Lagna comes at

ASC 1 14 24 43 Mar Ven Ven Rah

 

and when I calculated using Jagannath Hora for the Ayanamsha value

23.31'48 " ,the Lagna comes at 14.28'32 " and

ASC 1 14 28 32 Mar Ven Ven Jup

is the value.Please confirm which one should I take,as it changes my

7th sublord and a lot of sub-lords.

Up to sublord is the same and a slight difference in sub-sub lord.

 

It may be the same with 7th SBL.

Dear ak 131

You will notice that the lords of the asc (sign,star,sub) remain the same,

which ever sw you use. If you want to work with sub-sub lords, then use a

specialised KP sw.

 

I would recommend you to use K.P.Astro 2.1 by Man and Machines, Sri

K.Rangarajan ranga

Dear Anant ji,

For 1st house sign-star-sub are same but for house 7th the

sublord changes to ketu at (14.28).

Do you refer the following

 

7th 7 14 28 16.03 Ven Rah Ket Ket (by Jagannatha Hora)

 

which is not KP 7th cusp by the Placidus house system?

 

 

If not so, which 7 th cusp position of longitudes you are talking?

 

It may not be a difference in the SBL of 7th in your case.

Dear Sir,

In KP also , we have 1st cusp 180 degree opposite to 1st cusp...

so if 1st cusp is at 14.28 degrees then 7th cusp is also at 14.28

libra .. and at 14.26 degrees, cuspal lord changes in libra(from

mercury to ketu) ..

Dear Amit,

 

You are absolutely right regarding 1st & 7th. What I would like to

mention is those are not KP cusps except 1st & 7th by taking 14 28

16 for all cusps.

 

7th 7 14:28:15 Ve Ra Ke Ke (as per KPAstro 2.1)

Dear Amit,

 

I have been reading your interactions with other senior members in

the group regarding the ASC,7th cusp,sign/star/sub lords.

 

Jagannath hora lite follows Lahiri ephemeris which is 6min away from

KP ayanamsa.Hence if you try to compare the two charts you will find

the difference in house degreees. the subs may vary depending on the

planets. ketu,sun mars may show variation however,sat,jup,rahu

marcury may not show.There is not fixed answer for this but depends

on the specific chart under analysis.

 

My suggestion would be follow only one ayanamsa either KP or Lahiri

and prepare chart.Donot compare Jagannath hora software readings with

Sri Raichur's readings,they will mislead.Both will be right in their

context.
