Guest guest
Regarding dignities, In Jyotish we also have the problem of house rulership. If Pisces is the ascendant, for example, Venus rules the 8th and the 3rd, supposedly malefic rulerships. So Venus on a Pisces ascendant would in theory bring bad results. This would overrule its exaltation, which is a more general sign position that would apply to everyone born during the transit of Venus through Pisces. How I wish we had a research team to study all this!! Therese
Guest guest
I think if Venus were exalted in Picses, with a Pisces ascendant, that it brings mixed results, mostly good, but perhaps with a taint. To be honest though, I think traditional Jyotish is studied with a guru, who initiates the student. This student memorizes various scriptures, and does spiritual disciplines. It is not easily given to intellectual understanding, in the Western sense. liberator_9 ________________________________ Therese Hamilton <eastwest Wednesday, January 28, 2009 2:32:18 PM Dignities: additional note Regarding dignities, In Jyotish we also have the problem of house rulership.
