Guest guest
Therese Hamilton: Your synopsis is clear, thank you for refining that. ________________________________ Therese Hamilton <eastwest Monday, January 12, 2009 1:15:36 PM Re: Zodiac and a Pole Shift At 09:22 PM 1/11/09 -0800, Ignacio Cisneros wrote: > >Hypothetically speaking, if the rotation pole of the earth where to shift rapidly, the equinox would not change... Thank you, Ignacio, for taking the time to write a very detaied reply to the question, and for your added information about astronomical conditions. So whether or not we conclude that the idea of a rotational shift is someone's wild imagination, we can note according to your post: (1) The dates of the equinoxes would remain the same. (2) The angle where the ecliptic meets the horizon would change in all locations. So if we're accustomed to seeing the sun rise at point A on Janaury 1, we could expect it to rise instead at point B in relation to the horizon. Weather conditions would also shift for every location. (3)... " the idea that the rotation pole could shift is very difficult to support. the amount of energy required to accomplish this is proportional to the weight of the entire planet. " The comment put forth about a rotational shift is that the earth would flop over on its side for a very brief period of time. Weird idea, isn't it? (4)You've seen reports in the scientific literature that point to the Earth having an inner and an outer core which rotate at slightly different rates below the mantel of the planet. The crust is above the mantel... The predictions mention the crust separating from the earth's cores. (5) You've seen recent observations that have detected a tube of magnetic energy that stretches from the sun to the earth... Very interesting. Thanks for adding this note. (5) Astrologers need to start taking ecliptic latitude into consideration as well as longitude. Please correct me if I've misunderstood or misinterpreted your comments. Thanks again for your time and effort, Therese
